SHELTER HOURS
Monday - Friday: 8am to 4:30pm

Please use our online reporting system to make non-emergency complaints so that our phone lines can stay open for emergencies.

Adoptions:
We are open for meet and greet adoptions by appointment only Monday through Friday. Please contact us by email at [email protected] to schedule your appointment. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We have some cats available for adoption at the adoption center inside the Merriam PetSmart. You may visit those cats any day during PetSmart business hours:

PET ADOPTION INFORMATION
All of our dogs and cats available for adoption have already been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. Cats are tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. Dogs are microchipped. Dogs 7 months and older are tested for heartworms. ADOPTION FEES:
Dogs $85
Cats $45

We’re all out of wet kitten food — and the kitties are not going to be happy about it! 😿 We desperately need more kitten food. These little ones love their wet food and will definitely wonder where it went. If anyone would be willing to donate a case, we (and the babies!) would be so grateful. 🙏🏼
