Well, goodbyes are never easy—but they’re always part of life.
After nearly two decades, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to close this chapter and pass the ranch on to someone new to love it as much as we have.
We’ve been truly blessed to share this place with so many of you—our amazing customers, neighbors, and the broader horse community. From trail rides and cowboy church to haunted hayrides, horse shows, and sales… it’s been one wild and wonderful ride.
A heartfelt thank you to Lisa Yazel, who has been the heartbeat of this barn for years. Most will never fully understand the round-the-clock commitment it takes to care for a barn—watering late at night, feeding and mucking out stalls before the sun rises, and keeping everything in motion day after day. Lisa did all of that and still found the energy to host events and make Holsman Stables a place people wanted to be. We could not have done it without her.
To Gale and Gail —thank you for opening your arms and this property to the community. You made this place feel like home for everyone who walked through the gate.
Thank you all for the memories, the laughter, the trail dust, and the lifelong friendships. and last but not least in loving memory to Buddy, the horse who started it all. ❤️🐴
Holsman Stables is riding off into the sunset one last time.
