Mom finally made a page for Chase, well sort of. Rather than having a page for every dog mom plans to rescue in her life and pages to go quiet and become a rarely visited tribute page for the ones who cross the rainbow bridge mom made one that will be for Chase, me and all future pups and past pups.
Mom is going to keep my page and will still use Lexi and PJ page for memories of them so please don't leave out my sister's, they have and still are very important to mom.

Well the puppy has taken over the sofa but that's OK I have been sharing pretty well. Besides that's the spot Lexi usually took but I like it too.
Mom finalized the puppy's name.............Chase mostly because going to NASCAR races is something mom did with her parents all the time when she was a kid and then as adult mom has always like the Hendrick drivers. Mom really liked Jeff Gordon but he retired recently and a young up and coming driver named Chase took Jeff's spot on the team. Mom also really like Jimmie Johnson too. Mom said that before Grandpa died while he also liked Jimmie Johnson he saw something special in this Chase kid.
Because mom (and grandma as well as many friends) also likes the name Gibbs that will be the puppy's middle name. Mom said she did that because most dogs live like 10-15 years and while we hope NCIS will still be on it is pretty unlikely since it has already been on 13 years with season 14 starting soon.
Mom will be making Chase his own page soon and I will share it here so please follow him. Also even though PJ and Lexi crossed the rainbow bridge still follow their pages in loving honor and mom will post tributes and other things occasionally.

So in approximately 16.5 hours mom (Julie) grandma and I will be going to pick up my new baby brother. Mom keeps talking about this brother coming and doing little things to get prepared.
So mom saw this on her Facebook feed and it's pretty good but really tugs the emotions.
This new puppy coming is depending how you count the 9th dog ever to be living with mom. When mom was a kid she said there was a dog that mostly was grandpa's dog but really guarded mom, he was a Husky named King. Then there was this dog that was the "family" dog but was supposed to be that dog that every kid want and begs for and "officially" the kids dog but is ultimately still the family dog. That dog was a dark grey or charcoal color you puddle named Midnight. Mind you Midnight was supposed to be moms dog. Because mom didn't see to it that these dogs where taken care of beyond food and water cause she was a child, mom still loves them and remembers them in her heart but thats why mom officially counts new puppy and number 7.
So I am moms 6th dog to be adopted and moms responsible for everything like food, water but the not so fun stuff like going to vet and paying for the other things that come up, like right now puppy proofing the fence, LOL.
So mom wanted me to share this article and the video because it shows the importance of adopting especially even when not a puppy. Mom chose to adopt a puppy because she has said goodbye so much recently but thankfully with Lexi and I mom did adopt little bit older dogs. Even as a puppy for most part we don't live as long as most humans and it's hard sometimes for you humans to let us go when we give you that look but honestly you mean the world to us!
So please adopt a pup, adopt a adult dog, adopt a senior dog - Go to rescues or the pet stores that have rescue adoptions and stay away from the horrible puppy factories as they are so dirty, mean and don't take good care of the mommas and dad's. If you can't adopt consider fostering to give some pup or dog some love it may never have seen before.
Us dogs we just want to love and only as for love in return.

Mom is done puppy shopping and making me go for rides to meet puppies. Yeah I actually only met 1 but I do like car rides which we been doing a lot lately. Now time to rest before that puppy pesters me and I get no sleep.

Well mom and I made it through this crazy loud day with all the block party noise, the loud fireworks and snuggle time. I didn't even need my thunder coat! Mom and grandma did good with reminding me to go out before the noise got to crazy and even hung out for a little while in back yard till someone did a loud boom.
Mom says this holiday is the hardest on us 4 legged family and when way too many end up getting lost. I am glad mom is super extra cautious about making sure we don't get separated. That wouldn't be very fun.
Mom is also looking at adopting a baby brother for me to play with. So watch for updates! Mom wants to take it slow and make sure I am ready and be a perfect addition to the family and

Mom been gone a lot and extra busy cause Grandpa went to Heaven. Then today she said she had some kind of wind therapy. When she says that she leaves for several hours on this 2 wheel thing. Then she mowed the very wet and tall grass. I had to soak in some time.
