Happy thanksgiving! Just a few tips to keep your furry friends safe this holiday. Keeping decorations up and way from your pets can ensure nothing gets accidentally ingested. It's a good idea to keep table foods on the table, many foods we eat on Thanksgiving can be upsetting to their stomachs. The holidays can be a lot for both us and our furry friends. If needed let them calm down in a quiet safe space. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday!

Looks like the temperature is cooling down just in time for Labor Day weekend! Perfect weather to get the fur babies out for a nice walk or a game for fetch! Even though it is cooling down don’t forget to keep yourselves and animal companions well hydrated. Just a reminder the clinic will be closed on Monday, September 1st for Labor Day! July is almost over, but it is still National Pet Hydration Awareness Month.💦💦💦
It has been extremely hot this summer, which means water is either being consumed or evaporating faster than usual. Taking time to check our pets' water bowls a few extra times each day will help ensure they don't get dehydrated and stay healthy.

Here are a few tips to help reduce the risk of dehydration:

-Offer broth or ice cubes in their water to make it more appealing.

-Keep activity to a minimum during the hottest parts of the day.

-You can also add water to their meals to increase their overall water intake, if needed.

If your pet isn’t acting quite like themselves—if they seem lethargic, have a dry mouth, or are panting excessively—give us a call. We can get you scheduled for an appointment.

Happy Independence Day!! How is it already July?! Here are 3 safety tips to keep in mind on this festive day. 1.) Fill those water bowls it is easy to get dehydrated on warm days. 2.) Make sure to keep all non-edible items for example kabob skewers, glow stick, fireworks, and charcoal away from your pets. 3.) Good morning! We are 10 days away from the 4th of July. Although it is an exciting time with family, friends, and fireworks we also have to think of our animal companions. While some enjoy the excitement, others may be terrified by the loud noises and bright lights. The good news is there are supplements that can help. Happy Memorial Day! We would like to take a moment to honor and give thanks to the people and canines who have lost their lives serving our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Let's also keep our furry and not so furry friends safe this holiday by disposing of debris property, such as glow sticks and firecrackers. Keeping an eye on the food our pets consume is also a good idea, some of the foods we eat are toxic to our pets. We hope everyone has a safe holiday!🇺🇸🎆🇺🇸
