This is my friend Rakmi. Rakmi has been building Stitching Change, a social enterprise that connects women to each other and to sewing gigs. Rakmi was the first friend that I made in Kansas City. For five years, we've been dreaming about creating a space for Stitching Change. When I went to the building a few weeks ago, I captured this moment on camera... it's the first moment that I saw with my eyes what we've been seeing in our heads for so many years. It was a little emotional.

Congratulations to our office building owner Megan Painter for passing the final building inspection and obtaining the building's Certificate of Occupancy!

We will be moving immediately! Yayyy, goodbye home office!
