PENNY × ROVER 🎄

We are hopefully expecting Penny’s retirement litter + Rover’s very first litter, and if pregnancy is confirmed at our ultrasound next week, these babies will be READY TO GO HOME AT CHRISTMAS! 🎄🐾

Truly the sweetest way to close one chapter and begin another. Penny has given us some of the most beautiful, wonderful-tempered puppies, and getting to pair her final litter with the boy we’ve been waiting so patiently to use in our program makes this one incredibly bittersweet. 🤎

WHAT ARE WE EXPECTING? 🐾

A beautiful combination of traditional black tri + red puppies, with variations in markings and shades throughout the litter🤎🖤❤️

All puppies will be fully furnished, with beautiful straight to wavy coats, and approximately 30 lbs full grown, give or take.

How are these girls still available? 🥹🤍

Meet Eloise & Penelope - our two beautiful red mini Bernedoodle girls from the Bridgerton litter 🫖

These girls truly are everything we strive to produce in our program.

• Expected adult weight: ~25 lbs
• Multi-generational mini Bernedoodles
• Two copies of the furnishing gene
• Wavy coats
• Health tested parents

But what makes them truly special is who they are.

Both girls have incredibly calm, affectionate temperaments. They’re quiet-natured, people-focused, wonderfully gentle with children, and do beautifully around other animals. They’re the kind of puppies who are just as happy cuddling beside you as they are exploring the world with you.

🐾 A Very Special Opportunity 🐾

Some of you have known Ava since basically the beginning of KC Farm Doodles, and after a lot of thought, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to retire her from my breeding program.

Now, we’re looking for the perfect forever family for one truly incredible dog.

If you’ve ever wished you could skip the puppy stage and bring home a fully trained companion, Ava is that dog.

✨ 5 years old
✨ House trained & crate trained
✨ Walks beautifully on a leash
✨ Knows her basic commands and loves learning
✨ Calm, affectionate, and eager to please
✨ Wonderful with children
✨ Dog-friendly and incredibly gentle
✨ Can relax quietly at home or happily join you on adventures

To know Ava is to love her. She has the sweetest heart and one of the most easygoing temperaments I’ve ever had the privilege of raising. She simply wants to be near her people, whether that’s going for an evening walk, relaxing on the couch, or following you from room to room with her happy little smile.

The reason for her retirement is simple: over the past year, routine health testing revealed a thyroid imbalance. While it has prevented her from being a successful breeding candidate, it has not affected the wonderful companion she is. Her only noticeable symptom has been a thinner coat this past year, and otherwise she continues to enjoy a happy, active life.

Finding the right home is far more important to me than finding one quickly. Ideally, I’d love for her to stay local so I can continue to see her from time to time, but the perfect family matters most.

Evening strolls 🐾🌅

One of my favorite parts of Puppy Culture is finding safe ways to introduce our puppies to the world before they’re fully vaccinated.

While they’re still completing their vaccine series, we avoid letting them walk in public areas where unknown dogs may have been. Instead, we load everyone up in the puppy stroller and head out for an evening adventure🥹

They get to experience:
✨ New sights
✨ New sounds
✨ Different people
✨ Passing cars
✨ Bikes, strollers, and everyday life

All while staying safe and protected.

These little outings help build confidence and create positive experiences during one of the most important developmental stages. It’s one of the many small things we do at KC Farm Doodles to help set our puppies up for success in their future homes🫶🏻

Safe socialization doesn’t have to wait… it just has to be done thoughtfully.
