🐾 A Very Special Opportunity 🐾
Some of you have known Ava since basically the beginning of KC Farm Doodles, and after a lot of thought, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to retire her from my breeding program.
Now, we’re looking for the perfect forever family for one truly incredible dog.
If you’ve ever wished you could skip the puppy stage and bring home a fully trained companion, Ava is that dog.

✨ Walks beautifully on a leash
✨ Knows her basic commands and loves learning
✨ Calm, affectionate, and eager to please
✨ Wonderful with children
✨ Dog-friendly and incredibly gentle
✨ Can relax quietly at home or happily join you on adventures
To know Ava is to love her. She has the sweetest heart and one of the most easygoing temperaments I’ve ever had the privilege of raising. She simply wants to be near her people, whether that’s going for an evening walk, relaxing on the couch, or following you from room to room with her happy little smile.
The reason for her retirement is simple: over the past year, routine health testing revealed a thyroid imbalance. While it has prevented her from being a successful breeding candidate, it has not affected the wonderful companion she is. Her only noticeable symptom has been a thinner coat this past year, and otherwise she continues to enjoy a happy, active life.
Finding the right home is far more important to me than finding one quickly. Ideally, I’d love for her to stay local so I can continue to see her from time to time, but the perfect family matters most.
