Lexi goes home this weekend! 🖤
This little girl has been so incredibly special to raise. From the very beginning, Lexi has held a special place in our hearts, and watching her grow into the beautiful, sweet, sassy girl she is today has been such a joy.
We’re going to miss her terribly, but we’re so excited for the next chapter of her story and all the love and adventures waiting for her with her new family.

I recently saw a post from a Maine C**n breeder advertising a “rare tabby.” I sincerely hope it was clickbait and not a lack of basic breed knowledge, because tabby is one of the most common patterns found in Maine C**ns.
This is a perfect reminder to do your homework when choosing a breeder. Words like “rare,” “exclusive,” and “one of a kind” are often used to create excitement—and sometimes to justify a higher price—but clever marketing doesn’t make something genetically rare.
Ask questions. Learn about Maine C**n colors and patterns. Request videos or a FaceTime visit, and don’t let flashy wording pressure you into a decision.
Lexi may not need a made-up “rare” label, but we still think she’s pretty extraordinary. 😜

📸 Let’s talk about how deceiving pictures can be!
Meet Ozzie, an 18-lb adult Maine C**n, and Lexi, a 3½-lb, 10-week-old kitten. Looking at this photo, you’d think Ozzie was absolutely enormous and Lexi was teeny tiny!
Perspective, camera angle, positioning, and distance can make a Maine C**n look much larger—or smaller—than they really are.
That’s why, when choosing a Maine C**n online, don’t rely on photos alone. Ask for current videos, actual weights, and ideally a FaceTime/live video visit. It lets you see the cat’s true proportions, personality, environment—and confirms the kitten you’re considering is really there.
Beautiful photos are fun, but they don’t always tell the whole story. 🐾❤️
