Introducing our Italian Stallion litter — named in memory of my stepdad. ❤️

After all the ups and downs of the past week, we knew we wanted to name our little fighter Rocky. Well, it turns out Rocky is actually a Rocki! 😊

So meet Rocki, our one-week-old black smoke female singleton. She’s already showing us just how strong she is. Her little ears are starting to pop up, and if you squint, you can see that her eyes are just beginning to open.
We’re continuing to monitor her closely, but we’re happy to report that she’s nursing well, gaining weight, and growing right on schedule.
Thank you to everyone who has followed her journey, sent prayers, and cheered her on this first week of life. 🖤🐾

Life is so fragile at this age, and we are doing everything we can to help this little one thrive. Our singleton kitten is nursing well and gaining weight, which we're grateful for. She does have an elevated respiratory rate, so we've started nebulizer treatments and are hopeful they will help her breathing. We appreciate all the positive thoughts and prayers as we continue to support this tiny fighter.

Nyx had a little black smoke singleton. We had a rough start. Baby inhaled fluid coming out and required a lot of suctioning. At this time mom and baby are doing well. The little one will be closely monitored over the next two weeks for any complications. 🙏💕🙏💕🙏
