This week we’re welcoming Schlitz Creek for an evening of great music, good company, and summer fun — all while supporting the Kalamazoo Humane Society.

The concert is FREE, pet and family friendly, and open to everyone. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, settle in, and enjoy the evening with us!



Stop by the KHS bar for a refreshing beverage and grab some of our fresh-popped popcorn while you enjoy the show. Proceeds from purchases help support the work of the Kalamazoo Humane Society.

🌈 Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. 🌈

Our pets may only be with us for part of our lives, but the love they give us stays with us forever. ❤️🐾

Today, we’re remembering all of the beloved dogs, cats, and other companions who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge — the ones who made us laugh, comforted us when we needed it most, and left paw prints on our hearts that never fade.

Today is for the tail wags, sloppy kisses, zoomies, couch hogs, treat inspectors, professional cuddlers, and four-legged best friends who somehow make every single day better. 🐶❤️

From the tiniest pups to the biggest gentle giants, dogs bring so much joy, comfort, laughter, and unconditional love into our lives.

At the Kalamazoo Humane Society, we’re proud to support the incredible bond between people and their pets and help keep animals healthy, safe, and loved in our community. 💛
