Rem’s Rattery - SW Michigan Providing healthy and well-mannered rats from our home to yours. I first started my rat journey when I started working for Charles River Labs.
(1)

While at CRL, I worked in the necropsy lab for 2 months and Clinical Pathology for 1 year. It is at CRL that I fell in love with rats. I remember seeing a drawing one of the artists employed by CRL created and hung up near the cafeteria. That's when I decided that one day I would own pet rats. Never in a million years did I think my journey would come this far! Needless to say, I quickly became obsessed with my pet rats and decided to look into, and eventually begin, my breeding program. I have learned so much and continue to every day. I am grateful that I started this journey with the knowledge of rat anatomy and how certain criteria will effect a rat. I hope to only improve the health and temperament of my rattery with every litter I produce so I can provide my audience with the great experience of owning pet rats and defeat the negative stigma surrounding the animal.
