Today was the start of a very special opportunity for several youth at Western Michigan University Unified Clinics…a social skills group led by WMU Department of Occupational Therapy and Speech, Language Pathology students, with the themes of art and animals! I served as an ice breaker and inspiration, and loved meeting all my new buddies. They especially thought it was hilarious that I love going through tunnels (at 100 pounds, it’s no small task)!!

Numerous egg hunts took place yesterday... children find it very fun to hide Easter eggs containing treats for me to find. I search them out, open them, eat my treat, and then wait (not always patiently) for them to complete a task. Two friends worked on writing skills while a third did coordination and balance work!
