🍁 AUTUMN CHILL & WINTER PREP FOR OUTDOOR DOGS! 🐕🏡

Happy Monday, Kahoka! As we enjoy the crisp autumn weather, it’s a great time to start thinking ahead and prepping for colder temperatures.

Did you know that under Missouri law, providing "adequate shelter" is legally required for dogs kept outside? As winter approaches, here are a few key rules to keep in mind: ⬇️

🏠 Proper Shelter: Must have a solid roof, four sides, a floor off the ground, and be completely draft-free with enough room to stand and turn around.
🌾 Dry Bedding: Clean, dry bedding (like straw) is essential when freezing weather arrives.
💧 Unfrozen Water: Fresh, accessible water that isn't frozen over and plenty of food are required at all times to help them stay warm.

We want to send a massive shoutout to our wonderful neighbors and local businesses who have been donating towels for all the pups coming in and out of our spa and boarding facility. 🧺🧼🐾 Having fresh towels on hand for every bath and muddy paws session is a huge help, and your generosity means the world to us.
