🐾  Pack Puppy Social & Training 🐾

Looking for a fun place for your puppy to learn, explore, and make friends?

Join us every Tuesday from 6:00–6:45 PM for a relaxed puppy social designed to help puppies build confidence, practice good manners, and have positive experiences with people, dogs, and the world around them.

This isn’t a strict obedience class. We focus on age-appropriate socialization, confidence building, and AKC STAR Puppy skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Some activities may include:
🐶 Supervised puppy play
🐶 Being greeted politely by people
🐶 Handling and gentle restraint
🐶 Brushing and grooming practice
🐶 Confidence-building exercises
🐶 Calmness around distractions
🐶 Basic manners and engagement with owners

📍 Jurupa Valley
🕕 Tuesdays | 6:00–6:45 PM
💲 $10 per puppy

Please bring:
✔ Lots of treats
✔ A blanket or towel if you’d like a training spot for your puppy
✔ Vaccine records or proof that your puppy has started their vaccination series

Space is limited to keep the experience positive and safe for everyone.

The Bain fire is literally right down the way from us, but it’s moving south toward Corona and Norco. I don’t think it’ll move toward us. If anyone is in an evacuation zone and needs a place for their dogs, chickens, turtles, I have two spare kennels to hold them. (I have a dog boarding facility, but not all kennels are operational, plus I have my own dogs, chickens and friends dogs boarding.) So, realistically I can help one or two families. Hey friends! Meet Polly! Polly is an 11-year-old senior dog (turning 12 soon) looking for an experienced owner who understands anxious, high-energy dogs. She bonds deeply to her person and is very much a “Velcro dog” who always wants to be near you.

Despite being a senior, she is still energetic and needs daily exercise, routine, and mental stimulation. If she becomes bored or under-stimulated, she can cry, whine, pace, and become demanding for attention.

She is not a low-maintenance dog and does best with someone active and consistent. Polly is kennel trained and knows sit, lay down, roll over, wait, and shake. She loves walks and playing fetch. She can be anxious around strangers and has nipped when unfamiliar people try to pet her too quickly, so she needs slow introductions and an owner experienced with dog behavior and boundaries.

Polly would do best in a active adult home with no young children. A female adopter is preferred, and if there are other dogs in the home, she tends to do better with male dogs. She needs someone patient, structured, and committed to giving her the attention and stimulation she needs. For the right person, she is incredibly loving, loyal, and devoted. This Sunday we’re focusing on one of the most important skills your dog can have - RECALL (come when called) + PLACE (learning to settle and be calm).
This will be a structured training session where dogs take turns working while others observe and learn.
If your dog struggles with listening around distractions or settling down, this is a great class to jump into 🐾 If interested, drop a comment below and I’ll send address and details. $50 per dog. Limited spots. Enlightened Canines graduates welcome to join for free.

After reopening boarding in mid-November, I’ve had to make a thoughtful and necessary decision.
A family health situation has come up that requires my full attention for the next few months. Between homeschooling my kids, caring for our own household and animals, and stepping into a caregiving role, I’m going to be temporarily pausing boarding services.
This wasn’t an easy choice, but it’s the right one for this season. I’m so grateful to the families who trusted me with their dogs during this time, and I truly appreciate your understanding and support.
I’ll share an update when I’m able to reopen again. ♥️ Love & much gratitude-Angela and pack
