Visit our website to learn more about our programs & to view available adoptable pets. Furry Friends’ mission is to help animals in need. Those that are sick, injured, abused, neglected and abandoned are our top priority regardless of breed or age. All of them are precious and are deserving of the best care we can provide. Furry Friends' No-Kill Mission ensures that each animal in our care receives the best possible medical treatment, love and attention while awaiting its forever home. As a No-Kill shelter, Furry Friends allows the animals in our adoption program the time needed to heal wounded bodies and broken spirits before beginning their new lives with the very special people who open their homes and their hearts by adopting them. Furry Friends also believes that the answer to pet overpopulation and the suffering it causes is through sterilization, not euthanasia. Furry Friends has been a pioneer in low cost and juvenile spay/neuter since 1985. Furry Friend’s full service veterinary hospital is open to the public and is part of the overall charitable organization. Furry Friend’s veterinary clients receive top notch medical care from our three full time veterinarians and experienced and dedicated support staff. Our veterinary clinic is open Monday- Friday, 8am-6pm and on Saturday from 8am-1pm

Furry Friends receives no government funding and relies on donations from the public, grants and our own fundraising efforts. Please consider making a much needed tax deductible donation to Furry Friends today. Call 561-747-5311 Ext 6

Furry Friends was proud to be represented by Grand Vibert at the Best Friends AI in Animal Welfare Summit at Southern Utah University!

The two-day summit brought together 57 leaders from across animal welfare, technology, and academia to help shape the Charter for the Responsible Use of AI in Animal Welfare.

As technology continues to evolve, we're glad to have a seat at the table in conversations about how it can responsibly support the people doing this work and ultimately improve outcomes for animals and the communities we serve.

Thank you to Best Friends Animal Society for bringing everyone together!

Our longest-stay girl, Alabama, is back at the shelter after spending a long time in foster care, and we’re hoping her stay is a short one!

Alabama has gotten used to the comforts of home, and we’d love nothing more than for her to go right back to one—this time for good.

She’s five years old, has a calm, easygoing personality, does well with other dogs, and absolutely adores her people.

Her adoption fee is waived, and she’s more than ready to trade shelter life for a couch of her own.

Come meet Alabama. She’s waited long enough. ❤️
