As a No-Kill shelter, Furry Friends allows the animals in our adoption program the time needed to heal wounded bodies and broken spirits before beginning their new lives with the very special people who open their homes and their hearts by adopting them. Furry Friends also believes that the answer to pet overpopulation and the suffering it causes is through sterilization, not euthanasia. Furry Friends has been a pioneer in low cost and juvenile spay/neuter since 1985. Furry Friend’s full service veterinary hospital is open to the public and is part of the overall charitable organization. Furry Friend’s veterinary clients receive top notch medical care from our three full time veterinarians and experienced and dedicated support staff. Our veterinary clinic is open Monday- Friday, 8am-6pm and on Saturday from 8am-1pm

🚨 PSA 🚨This is the side of backyard breeding people don’t always see and we are sick of it!

Today, a tiny designer-breed puppy weighing less than one pound came to us critically ill—the second sick puppy we’ve received from the same backyard breeding situation.

When breeding is done irresponsibly, the animals pay the price, and rescues are often left to pick up the pieces.

Even the popular breeds you think you’ll never find in rescue end up here. In fact, roughly 1 in 4 shelter dogs are purebred.

Furry Friends Humane is here at Roger Dean Stadium for the Hammerheads vs the Tarpons game. Gates open at 5:30pm- First pitch at 6:30pm.

You can bring your pup to this game for FREE with the purchase of a human ticket. Purchase your ticket using this link https://www.gofevo.com/event/Furryfriends28, and $5 goes to Furry Friends.

If you don’t have a pup, don’t worry as Furry Friends will have some pups available for adoption when the gates open at 5:30pm.
