On days that I am not one of the staff members in daycare, I always make a point of looking at the posts at the end of the day on the daycare page. I love seeing all the dogs, and what they have been up to, and what I may have missed.
My heart always melts when I see all the smiles, not just the pups, but the staff as well. We have the best staff that will always love and treat your pups, as one of our own. Thank you for trusting us with their care.

It’s Biscuit’s fifth birthday today, and he’s feeling groovy baby! ☮️✌️🎈
Biscuit has been joining us here at the pet lodge since he was just a little baby! ❤️🥰
He is the silliest boy who loves food, friends, family, toys, swimming….. now that I think about it, it would take less time to tell you what he doesn’t love! 💕
You will always find him smiling, and there is never a dull moment with Biscuit around 😋
Although he loves everyone and everything he meets, he does have some absolute best pals…. Coco, Skylar, and Ivan 😎
And of course I can’t forget about his fur sister from another mister, Daisy…. 🌼
She is the light of his life, and she won’t admit it, but she secretly loves him too 😉
Everyone help us wish Biscuit boy a very happy 5th birthday! 🥳🥳🥳

🏕️🎉 Somebody tell Rio the party is supposed to end eventually… because he’s celebrating like a camping king at Rustic Acres! 🔥🐾

Our birthday boy turned 6 today and has been spending every second surrounded by his favorite crew — Delilah, Rascal, Riggins, and Bear! He's been zooming around daycare and hanging with his besties by the “campfire.” Rio is making sure everyone knows it’s HIS special day. ❤️

And don’t worry… the birthday treats are still rolling in. 👀 We have a feeling this crew plans on celebrating until snack time, nap time, and maybe even after that too!

Happy 6th Birthday, Rio! 🐶🎈

We checked out Rustic Acres Pet Lodge in Juneau 🐾

What started as a boarding facility back in 2016 has now grown into a full pet care experience offering boarding, daycare, grooming, training classes, wellness therapies, luxury suites, and so much more.

One thing that really stood out to us was just how much they genuinely care about the animals. From the large indoor and outdoor play areas to the individualized enrichment activities like puzzle games, bedtime snacks, story time, and extra playtime, you can tell this is more than just a business to them… it's truly their passion 🐶♥️

Their luxury suites even include cozy beds, TVs, radiant floor heating, and window seating for pets.
It's always so fun discovering unique businesses like this while traveling around Wisconsin and meeting the people behind them.

While exploring Juneau, we were invited to check out a pretty neat place called Rustic Acres Pet Lodge and animal lovers are going to love this spot 🐾🏨

Rustic Acres Pet Lodge originally opened in May 2016 and has continued growing ever since. What started as a boarding facility has now grown into so much more. What began with pet boarding eventually expanded into a daycare program offered two half days a week, and from there it continued to grow into the full-service pet care experience it is today with over 125 regular clients.

The business is currently owned by Becca, who purchased Rustic Acres in 2022, along with an entire team that helps keep things running smoothly every day.

They offer a wide variety of services including dog and cat boarding, luxury pet suites, daycare, grooming, puppy classes, dog training, wellness therapies, and AKC puppy and Canine Good Citizen classes 🐶🐱

One thing that makes this place stand out is the setup of the property itself. Pets have access to multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, supervised social environments, radiant floor heating, air conditioning, and even UV air purification systems. Their luxury suites also include televisions, cozy beds, and window seating areas for pets.

They also focus heavily on enrichment and individualized care for the animals with things like extra playtime, puzzle games, snuggle mats, bedtime snacks and story time, relaxation bodywork sessions, and even grooming during boarding stays.

For dog owners, they also offer training programs ranging from puppy kindergarten classes all the way to private training sessions using positive reinforcement methods.

One thing that really stood out to us was just how much they genuinely care about the animals. From the large outdoor play areas to the individualized care and training programs, you can tell this is more than just a business to them. It's something they're passionate about.

It's always fun to discover unique businesses like this while traveling around Wisconsin and meeting the people behind them.
