3. If still interested, fill out an adoption application.
4. Give the shelter a few days to review all the applications on said dog. Adoption fees for dogs:

If you are interested in a cat

2. If all goes well, you can fill out an adoption application to adopt the cat and take them home the same day! Adoption fees for cats

We are wanting to reshare this, because we are having a HUGE increase of kittens being taken away from their mom and turned in.

🐾 Tiny Kittens, Big Responsibility 🍼

We know it’s hard to walk away from a tiny, crying kitten—but picking up neonatal kittens (newborn to ~4 weeks old) can actually do more harm than good.

💡 Here’s what you should know:
• If the kittens are warm, quiet, and tucked away — mom is likely nearby
• Mama cats often leave briefly to find food or move safely around people
• Removing kittens too soon can separate them from their best chance of survival

🚨 When SHOULD you step in?
• The kittens are cold, wet, or injured
• They are crying nonstop for hours with no sign of mom
• You know for certain mom is deceased or not returning

🖐️ What you can do instead:
• Keep a safe distance and monitor from afar
• Check back in a few hours
• Call us for guidance before intervening

Neonatal kittens require round-the-clock care, specialized feeding, and constant warmth—something their mom does best ❤️

When in doubt, leave them with mom and reach out for advice first. You could be saving their lives by not picking them up.
