I know so many of you have been praying for my mother and asking about her, and I want to sincerely thank you for your concern and prayers over the last year. Last night, my mother, Barbara June Wimm, went home to be with the Lord.

It was very special to me that so many of you were able to meet her at The Pines Pet Pampering’s 20th Anniversary Celebration last year.

My mom devoted her life to full-time ministry as a missionary to Mexico, and I am deeply grateful to have grown up with the example of servitude and faith that she and my father, Ralph, lived out every day.

A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00–8:00 PM at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua.

To help streamline the booking process, please complete the following steps in order:

1️⃣ Review our boarding information, policies, and pricing on our website:

2️⃣ Submit your pet’s veterinary vaccine records showing the actual vaccine administration dates (not just future due dates).

3️⃣ Complete registration through the link we provide, including signing the required agreement form.

4️⃣ Once all required information has been received and approved, we will then check current availability for your requested boarding dates.

Please note:
• We are unable to hold or reserve boarding rooms for unregistered pets.
• Availability changes daily, especially for high travel seasons when boarding is booked well in advance
• Boarding deposits can only be accepted after registration is completed and availability is confirmed.
• This process also applies to newly added pets and returning clients needing account updates.

It’s been 18 years since Melinda was diagnosed with Lyme disease and several pathogenic co-infections. Dogs also suffer from pathogenic diseases caused by tick and flea bites. It’s important to know the symptoms to look out for!

Ticks can carry more than one pathogen and transmit them simultaneously. A person with a Lyme disease co-infection generally experiences more severe illness, more symptoms, and a longer recovery.

As many of you know, Roberta has been out since February due to a medical situation, and we’ve all been working together to care for her clients until her return.

At this time, grooming availability is reserved for clients who are already on a consistent pre-booked schedule. We do not have open availability to accommodate schedule changes, reschedules, or new appointments.

Our team is currently absorbing over 30 additional dogs per week into existing schedules, and we are working extended hours to ensure every pet continues to receive the same level of care and attention.

We truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this time. It means more than you know.
