🎉 LOOK WHO’S BACK… BACK AGAIN! 🎉

If you’ve noticed all the changes happening around Cato Pet Hospital lately, there’s a reason — we’re getting ready to GROW! 🖤🐾

We are SO excited to officially announce that Dr. Taylor Landreth is coming back to Cato Pet Hospital starting October 5!

We know our staff is thrilled, and we have a feeling many of our clients will be just as excited to see a familiar face back in the clinic. Life has a funny way of working things out, and we’re so thankful it brought Dr. Landreth back to us a little sooner than we ever expected!

Dr. Landreth will be:
✨ Seeing appointments on Wednesdays & Fridays
✨ Available for drop-offs and urgent care visits
✨ Performing dentals & surgeries on Mondays & Tuesdays

Her special interests include feline medicine, dentistry, emergency & critical care, and preventative medicine — and we can’t wait to have her back doing what she loves alongside our team.

Her schedule will officially be opening up next week, so if you’ve been waiting to get back on Dr. Landreth’s schedule, give us a call! 📞🐶🐱

We have lots of exciting things happening at Cato Pet Hospital, and this is just one more step toward being able to better care for our patients, our clients, and our growing community.

🚧 Exciting Changes Are Coming to Cato Pet Hospital! 🐾

Over the next little while, you may notice some construction, extra activity, and a little more noise than usual around the clinic. We appreciate your patience while we make some exciting improvements!

These may be small changes to our building, but they’re going to make a BIG difference in how efficiently we can care for our patients — allowing us to help even more pets each day. ❤️

We love our little building and all the history and memories inside its walls. Our goal is to take the very best care of it so that we can continue serving you and your pets for many years to come.

And while we’re talking about changes… we may have some BIG news to share soon, too. 👀🤫

Update: Hailey’s surgery went as well as we could have possibly hoped! Prayers are answered. Please continue to pray for a speedy recovery!

Tomorrow is a big day for our Hailey. ❤️

So many of you have checked in on her and asked us to keep you updated. Your love for her has meant more than you know, so we wanted to share this next step with her second family — our Cato Pet Hospital family.

Tomorrow, Hailey will undergo surgery. We know this is a huge step in the right direction and another step toward winning this war, but that doesn’t make it any less scary.

Today, we’re asking you to take a moment and say a prayer for Hailey, her team of doctors, and her family. Tonight, she is soaking up these last moments before surgery with the people she loves most.

We know many of you will be anxiously — and probably a little impatiently — waiting for an update tomorrow. We promise we will share one once she is safely out of surgery, recovered, and gives us the go-ahead. Until then, instead of filling her phone with calls and messages, let’s fill the space around her with prayers. 🙏

One more step toward winning this war. We love you, Hailey. You have an entire army behind you. ❤️

🎓🐾 Good Luck, Catie! 🐾🎓

Tomorrow, we’re sending Catie back to vet school for her second year! ❤️

We’ve been lucky enough to have her back with us all summer, and we’re definitely not ready to see her go! She has helped save countless lives, given out more lovings than we could ever count, jumped in wherever she was needed, and kept us laughing all summer long.

Catie has such a big heart for both animals and people, and we are so proud to watch her continue working toward becoming the amazing veterinarian we already know she will be. 🩺🐶🐱

She will be missed SO much around Cato, but we’re excited to send her off for the next step of her journey!

Help us wish Catie good luck as she starts year TWO of vet school! We love you, Catie, and we’ll be cheering you on from home! ❤️🐾

We wrapped up our busiest season with a much-needed team retreat! ❤️🐾

There were thrills, relaxation, lots of laughs, and even more memories made. After countless long hours, busy days, and so many pets helped and lives saved, this crew deserved every minute of it!

So thankful for this Cato Pet Hospital family and all they pour into our patients and clients every single day. Now we’re rested, recharged, and ready for what’s next! 🐾❤️

🐾 Just a Reminder: We Are Closed Today & Tomorrow

Our team is away for our annual staff retreat and reset. We will reopen Monday, August 3 with our normal business hours.

If your pet has an emergency while we are closed, please contact:
• Paragould Animal Clinic
• Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency
• Any emergency veterinary hospital in Memphis, Little Rock, or Cabot

Allied Animal Emergency will reopen at 6:00 PM tomorrow.

Don’t panic—this one’s much safer than the ones that end up in the river.

Meet Gator. Someone dumped him in Cash, and when he was found he was covered in sores, severely underweight, and in desperate need of help. But look at him now…

He’s left that chapter behind and is ready for the one he’s been waiting for: a forever family.

This goofy boy is about 1.5–2 years old, weighs 25–30 pounds, and should fill out to around 35–40 pounds. He’s the perfect medium-sized companion with an even bigger heart.

✨ Dog friendly
✨ Cat friendly
✨ Kid friendly

His favorite hobbies include collecting snuggles, making new friends, and convincing you that your couch belongs to him.

To help him get started in his new home, he’ll come with 6 months of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

A veterinary reference is required for adoption because this sweet boy has already been let down once, and we want to make sure his next home is his forever home.
