The shop is closed today(Sunday), but we have this space for hosting birthday parties, classes and field trips 7 days a week. We also do traveling shows for bdays, schools, scout meets, block parties, festivals, libraries, your cat’s party, whatever you need. Our shows include a large python, tortoise, iguana, monitor lizard, frog, snapping turtle and others. When you gps our location it will bring you to a small strip mall. We are suite 104 and have our logo on the door. We are open Monday-Saturday now.

We are officially open! For all of those messaging, we do have mealworms, superworms, crickets, small hornworms, mice/rats of various sizes including pinkies. Frozen mice, rats and chicks. If you want 1,000 count crickets let us know in advance to order or a large amount of worms that we can get together for you. You can message us here or instagram or text the store phone. Ok folks we are opening next week! We will be doing a soft opening. We will have live feeders(mice, rats, crickets, etc). We have some animals for sale and will continue to bring in more and more as we grow. We will be hosting in house parties with live animals as well and are working on getting our “Critter Lounge” ready for that. Thanks for your patience and we will update you in a few days with the specific opening day. See you real soon!

Big changes are coming! 🦎🐍🐢

We’re excited to announce that this page is now under new ownership and will soon become the official page for The Critter Spot — a brand-new reptile and exotic pet store coming to Joliet!

Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice the page name and content changing as we prepare for our grand opening, which we’re hoping will be sometime in July.

Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming place for reptile lovers of all experience levels, with quality animals, supplies, feeders, and more. We can’t wait to share updates, behind-the-scenes progress, new arrivals, and opening details with everyone.
