Duloc is a perfect place

Meet Duloc! Duloc is a spunky ten-month-old boy who is ready to find his forever home. He came to JTAC as a stray from the local area, but sadly, no one came forward to reclaim him. We were surprised that this outgoing, friendly guy was never claimed because he has so much personality to share!

Duloc gets along great with other cats and loves to play, pounce, and show off his kitten-like energy. His favorite toys include springs and feathers, and he’s always ready to chase after a new toy. His adoption fee is $80, and includes his vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and neuter. He is already fixed. ADOPTED!!

Introducing Doris! Doris is a mellow one-year-old tuxedo girl who is ready to find a loving forever home. She came to JTAC as a stray, and sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Without a microchip, identification tags, or a lost report, Doris patiently waited for someone to come looking for her, but unfortunately, that day never came.

Doris enjoys the company of other cats, but she also appreciates her independence. You can often find her snoozing on her cozy cat bed or lounging on a fresh pile of towels. Don't let her laid-back personality fool you, though! When she hears that it's time for wet food or snacks, she'll happily come chirping your way and weave adorable figure eights around your feet. Her adoption fee is $80, and includes her vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and spay. She is already fixed. ADOPTED!!!

Meet Farquaad, an 8-week-old male kitten ready to find his forever castle! This little guy loves spending time with his feline friends, showing off his playful side by jumping, pouncing, and wrestling with his buddies. When he’s not busy causing a little kitten chaos, you can usually find him chasing plastic balls, batting around play mice, or enjoying some cuddle time in your arms.

Farquaad may be small, but he’s ready to rule a kingdom of his own! His adoption fee is $120, and includes his age appropriate vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, registered microchip, FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and neuter. He is already fixed. WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?!

Meet Shrek, a 9-week-old male kitten ready to find his forever swamp! Shrek was found all by himself as a tiny kitten, but he wasted no time winning over our staff with his love for attention, snuggles, and silly shenanigans.

This little guy has a playful personality and can turn just about anything into a toy! He’ll even stick his paw out to get your attention and convince you to stop what you’re doing and play with him. When he’s not charming the humans, Shrek loves spending time with other cats. During free play, you can often find him jumping, wrestling, and pouncing on his feline friends.

If you’re looking for a tiny ogre with a big personality, endless playfulness, and plenty of snuggles to give, Shrek might be the perfect addition to your family! Could your home be the swamp he’s been searching for? His adoption fee is $120, and includes his age appropriate vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, registered microchip, FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and neuter. He is already fixed. Introducing Hippa! A three-year-old Hippo… we mean Pittie, who is looking for her forever home!

Hippa is a beefy girl weighing a SOLID 75 pounds — and when we say solid, we mean SOLID! This girl is a tank, and she doesn’t always realize just how strong she is. Hippa is full of wiggles, dances, and enthusiastic shimmies, and she has the playful personality of a giant puppy packed into a very sturdy body.

Hippa loves going for walks, but she has a tendency to forget that she is supposed to walk with you rather than drag you along for the adventure. We’re working on those leash manners, and she’ll need someone who is confident handling her strength and willing to continue working with her. Her favorite thing to do is play fetch and will happy give you back the toy for another toss!

When it comes to other dogs, Hippa is a social girl! She enjoys meeting canine friends, loves to play, and will happily break out her best play bows when she’s ready for some fun.

And when she’s not busy being a 75-pound wrecking ball of happiness, Hippa absolutely loves attention. She enjoys soaking up gentle pets, affection, and the occasional butt slap because, according to Hippa, that’s just good manners! Her adoption fee is $200, which includes her vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay. She is already fixed! ADOPTED!!!!

Meet Big Ben! Big Ben is a three-year-old, 20-pound Corgi/Chihuahua mix who is ready to find his forever home.

Ben is definitely a unique-looking little guy, and we would absolutely love to know what his DNA test results would say one day! His combination of features makes him one-of-a-kind, and he certainly has the personality to match.

Ben came to JTAC as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. We held out hope that someone would come looking for him or call our office, but sadly, that call never came. Now, Big Ben is officially available for adoption and ready to start the next chapter of his life.

Ben does wonderfully with our volunteers and is also dog-friendly. He enjoys going for walks and isn't one to rush through them. Ben likes to take his time, stopping to sniff, explore, and thoroughly investigate everything happening around him. He’s a curious little guy who enjoys taking in the world at his own pace.

His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Call our office for adoption details at 815-725-0333. Located in Joliet, IL

Introducing Zoey! This silly two-year-old Dilute Calico is ready to find a family of her own!

Zoey first arrived at our facility as a stray back in September, and when she first came through our doors, she was quite the bashful girl. She would often tuck herself underneath her blankets and greet you with the tiniest, most pitiful little “mew.”

Fast forward a few weeks of settling in and receiving lots of love, and Zoey has really started to come out of her shell! These days, she happily greets our staff and volunteers with headbutts, sweet attention, and adorable figure eights around our legs. She’s discovered that people aren’t so bad after all—and she definitely enjoys being loved on!

Zoey is still figuring out the whole “living with other cats” thing. She isn’t necessarily looking to make a feline BFF, but she can coexist and mingle with other cats. She often prefers to keep her distance, watching them curiously from the safety of a cat tree or countertop. Think of her as more of a “we can be friends from across the room” kind of girl.

Zoey may need a little time to adjust to her new surroundings, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and silly personality shines through. Her adoption fee is $80, and includes her vaccines, f***l exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and spay. She is already fixed.
