June is packed with fun opportunities to support Hopeful Tails and spend time with some amazing dogs!

Whether you're looking to adopt a new family member, enjoy puppy cuddles, or support our rescue mission, we have something for everyone.

From adoption events and open viewings to Puppy Therapy and community fundraisers, there are plenty of ways to get involved throughout the month. Every event helps us continue providing care, shelter, and second chances to dogs in need.

Yesterday morning we asked you to guess Franny's breed! Franny is currently 16 weeks old and weighs about 11 pounds. We received guesses ranging from terrier mixes to yorkies, German Shepherd, and more. While some of the breeds in her DNA results were guessed, her #1 breed — Chihuahua — was not!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our guessing game. It was fun seeing all of your predictions and highlights an important point: appearances can be deceiving, which is why we typically do not list breeds for our adoptable dogs. In most cases, we simply don't know their parentage, and looks alone are not a reliable way to determine breed.

What we do know is that rescued dogs make wonderful family members. Whether they are big, small, mixed breed, or purebred, each one has a unique personality and so much love to give.

Franny and all of our adoptable dogs are looking for families who will love them for who they are—not what breed they might be.

One of the most common questions we get about our adoptable dogs is, “What breed are they?” Most of the time, we honestly do not know since we usually do not know the parents. Guesses are often based only on appearance, and everyone seems to have a different opinion!

Franny, who is available for adoption, actually had a DNA test completed. 👀 Before we reveal the results, we want to hear your guesses!

Thank you to Grateful Therapy for another terrific evening of Puppy Yoga. Our puppies enjoyed stretching and cuddling with all the participants.

While June is already sold out and July is close, they will be adding new sessions August though November.
