Shouty McShoutfsce has the BIGGEST personality of all our fosters right now. He has so much to say, so many places to be, and so many opinions. He is not built for the quiet, peaceful homes. 😅

He loves to slap the churu out of my hand to try to steal all for himself and batts my hand out of the way to keep it. He is a NUTCASE and loves to carry toys in his mouth, run on the wheel and get some air jumping after string toys!

Periwinkle and Olive are finally flea free! They still haven’t forgiven us. Their foster said - so far, they are not a fan of me, each other, combs, baths, getting picked up, or me holding the churu.

She’s got a ways to go with these little stinkers! We can always use churu, wet food and dry kitten food donations!!

Update: She has a pretty good case of coccidia with some concern for anemia from this plus the history of severe flea dermatitis. P**p problems have HAUNTED us this year. We just cleared Giardia in some kitties a few weeks ago in one foster house and Coccidia last week or two in another house. We’ve had so many new intakes with Coccidia this year from how humid out it’s been. I’m so tired of cleaning p**pies and medicating for p**pies 🫠😭
Looking into safe meds for a lactating mom and bitties and then hopefully home soon for a very late dinner 😅

Honey Bunches of Oats is taking an impromptu trip to Cambria Veterinary Care. When I went up this morning around 5:30am I noticed there was still a lot of food and water in the dish but topped it off for the day. When I got home today the food and water had not changed at all, she wouldn’t move to the other levels to get pets and when I opened the can of wet food she didn’t move, didn’t paw through the cage and when offered it - didn’t touch it. I noticed the litter box had no p*e or poo in it as well. She did p**p on the way here at least but this is all very very abnormal for her.

Nursing moms can have severe liver issues and serious complications for the kittens if they don’t eat or drink over 24 hours and this girl was cleaning her plate with us up until today. I offered the kittens some wet food slurry and headed out - I hadn’t seen her nurse the kittens today but to be fair I was away at work for 10ish hours and I don’t see many of the nursings she does. Luckily they ate about 3/4 of a half can before I left.

Send lots of good vibes for our sweet girl. Walk in appointment is $199 if anyone wants to chip in for this girl!

Dale is gonna be such a funny kitty for a lucky family! He would be great for a family with kids who can play and tire him out. He loves to run like a mad man and pants when he’s taking breaks before taking off like a doggy!

We absolutely will need a home with lots and lots of toys for this amber-eyed beauty!

Meatloaf is home! We are going to have a BIG meatloaf shaped hole in our heart.

Shortly after he left, Wiley and Stormy came to us. Their dad did not want to surrender them but unfortunately sometimes responsible pet ownership is doing the best for them even if it breaks your heart. These boys are 8 year old bonded litter mates. They are still getting adjusted here but Stormy is making sure he purrs his brother Wiley’s fear away. 🧡 Welcome sweet boys.

Mort and Holy Cow can’t decide if they’re the best of buds or the enemy of ages.

They may look oh so sweet but trust, they alternated kisses and snuggles between bunny kicks and ear munches. They are both such good sports about it and would be wonderful in homes with other kitties!

Lindsay is one of the kitties that reminds us why we do what we do. She was part of a colony some friends were working on. Some of them were released back out, some stayed. We were planning to release her and the night before… she purred and came to me and rubbed all over for attention solidifying her place inside. She is still a nervous girl in new environments but when she finally adjusts, she is a lover girl!

I can’t get enough of her bushy little raccoon tail!

I forgot flea meds but I doubt that’s a problem, I haven’t seen fleas on cats since it got cold and they’ve been indoors but I’ll bring it tomorrow for you! (Second lie of the night).

These beauties were covered in flea dirt warranting a bath only to find fleas everywhere in their long hair. As a reminder flea anemia is deadly to kittens. These guys are big enough to be fine but also now angry at us for the dewormer, vaccines, capstar and insane amount of dish soap. 😕
