The Humane Society of Cambria County aims to provide a second chance for the abandoned, surrendered, and stray animals of Cambria County through the means of a no-kill philosophy and quality of life policy, our volu

nteer and foster programs, animal control services, a spay and neuter requirement, our veterinarian relationships, animal training assistance, a vetted adoption process, responsible pet ownership, and, most importantly, the human-and-animal bond.

Meet Gloria

Gloria was brought to us at the end of last year, and since then, weโ€™ve been working hard to help her feel comfortable and let her true personality shine. Recently, she was moved to our back office, and what a difference it has made! Away from the hustle and bustle of the shelter, Gloria has blossomed into the sweet, charming girl we knew she was hiding underneath. According to her previous owner, Gloria prefers to be the only cat in the home so she receives the princess treatment she deserves - and our experience with her has certainly proven that to be true!

Gloriaโ€™s adoption fee has been sponsored and she is ready to meet her furever person. If you can open your home to become โ€œGloriaโ€™s Kingdom,โ€ you may just be the one she has been waiting for!

Meet Dozer

Dozer came to us as a stray in the beginning of March. He has brought endless energy, love, and puppy-like enthusiasm back into our shelter. He has been patiently waiting for a furever home and we think it's time this special pup gets the spotlight he deserves!

As our Dog of the Month, his adoption fee has been reduced to $30 for the month of June in hopes that his perfect family will find him. Could you be the one?

Some duos are simply meant to be together, and Pumpkin and Patches are the perfect example.

Patches is a curious, adventurous little lady who loves exploring every corner of the world around her. Whether she's investigating a new toy, searching for the perfect nap spot, or following you around to see what you're up to, she's always on a mission. Despite her independent spirit, she absolutely loves attention, treats, and most of all, her brother, Pumpkin.

Pumpkin is as sweet as they come. This handsome boy adores being held and will happily melt into your arms. Gentle, affectionate, and endlessly loving, Pumpkin's favorite place is wherever Patches happens to be. You'll often catch the two of them snuggled together or exchanging the sweetest face rubs.
