🐴 Now Hiring – Barn Staff!

📍 Hunters Court Farm | Johnstown, OH

Hunters Court Farm is looking to add reliable, hardworking individuals to our team! We are currently hiring for both full-time and weekend barn staff positions.

Available Positions:

Full-Time: 7AM–3PM | 5 days per week
Weekend: 7AM–3PM | Saturdays & Sundays

Responsibilities include:

Feeding, watering, and turning out horses
Mucking stalls and maintaining clean barn areas
Sweeping, organizing, and general farm upkeep
Assisting with daily barn routines and other farm duties

Requirements:

Previous experience handling and working with horses
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

We are looking for dependable, self-motivated individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the equine industry!

All positions begin with a paid trial period to ensure a good fit. Compensation is determined following the trial period.

A great fall week at Brave Horse X for the Hunters Court Farm team 🍂 We’re so proud of our horses and riders and all they accomplished throughout the week!

Everette Filiatraut & Lovebird had a standout week, winning the Brave Horse 2’ Non-Pro Hunter Derby and earning Reserve Champion in the 2’3” Outreach Pre-Child/Adult Hunters.

Madeline Kottman & Pimpernel De Mariposa finished 5th in the $3,500 Welcome Stake 1.25m and 7th in the $9,500 Prix 1.25–1.30m.

Hannah Kennedy & Tik Tok Z finished 6th in the Brave Horse 2’ Hunter Derby, along with top rounds in the Outreach Pre-Child/Adult Hunters 2’3”. Earlier in the week, Tik Tok Z was Champion in the 2’6” USHJA Hunters with Jessica Borton.

Blake Ruberto & Jackson were Champion in the Outreach Crossrails Equitation.

Reese Ruberto & Hallelujah! earned Reserve Champion in the 2’ Outreach Short Stirrup Hunters.

Cadence Strom & Noblese Oblige SCF were Champion in the Outreach Hunter Crossrails.

Delaney Scheschuk & Sir Winston earned Reserve Champion in the Outreach Crossrails Equitation.

Ariana Tyler & Nadisha had a fantastic week in the .80m and .90m Jumpers with multiple wins, including a win in the .90m Novice Jumper Classic.

Baylee Dye & Surf’s Up finished the week Reserve Champion in the 2’ Equitation 11 & Under.

The moms got in on the fun too, stepping into the spotlight for the Adult Lead Line class! It was such a fun way to share some laughs and make memories outside the show ring.

A great way to wrap up our 2026 outdoor season. Congratulations to all of our riders, horses, families, and everyone behind the scenes who made it such a success🏆🍁

A great weekend at Brave Horse VIII! Congratulations to all of our riders on some fantastic rounds and results.

Madeline Kottman & Pimpernel de Mariposa finished 6th in the $12,500 1.30m Prix.

Alyssa Janiga & Veritas de la Pomme KES took the win in the 1.0m Open Jumper Classic!

Everette Filiatraut & Lovebird won the OHJA Medal, earned Champion in the 2’ Equitation 11 & Under, Reserve Champion in the Outreach Short Stirrup Equitation, and Reserve Champion in the Outreach Short Stirrup Hunters, along with a 4th place finish in the 2’ Hunt & Go Derby.

Lillian Elliott & Limeno LS had great rounds in the Jr/Am .80m Jumpers, including a 2nd place finish.

Blake Ruberto & Jackson earned Champion in the Outreach Crossrail Hunters, Reserve Champion in the Outreach Crossrail Equitation, and Reserve Champion in the Outreach Walk Trot Ground Poles.
