Putting feelers out for my mare, Crown Jewel (Cabalito x Gandina WH)
2015 Oldenburg Mare 16.3hh
"Toast" is a sweet, smart mare with lots of athleticism and a great attitude. She is a jack of all trades (but master of none) having done dressage, jumping, trails, cow work, working equitation, and has a heavy liberty foundation. She currently gets ridden once or twice a week by me and a novice rider, and is a therapy horse (which she loves) She does well with a confident rider that is able to communicate clearly and fairly what they want from her. She has a great drive to work with her rider, she just doesn't like to be bossed around. She is a very light, sensitive ride without being reactive. She rides primarily from the seat and we've done plenty of bridleless work in the past.
I am traveling internationally for an indeterminate amount of time, and I am looking for an ideal person to take her on until my life settles a bit. I am ideally looking for someone to full lease her, and would be open to a lease to own for the perfect situation. She has a great pedigree with 10 full siblings that have been very successful in the hunter and dressage rings. She has lovely movement, and is a pleasure to ride, and is the same horse whether she's ridden daily or been sitting for a year. With time I believe she'd be a steady eddie. I would also be open to a broodmare lease, as she is currently a maiden and I planned to breed her but life is going in a different direction for me. She has the title of Premium Mare and placed as the top scoring mare at her Broodmare Inspection. I believe she will be a wonderful mother, and has been in herds with youngsters that she's taken under her wing.
Toast is my heart horse so my priority is to find the perfect person for her. She is located in Pataskala, Ohio and could continue to be boarded where she's at now, but I would consider an offsite for the perfect situation.
