knocked this Mother’s Day gift out of the park! I’ve wanted a barrel sauna for a while and I’m so excited to add this to our homestead.

We have a little electrical work that needs to be done before we fire her up, but sauna sessions will be happening soon!!

Tomato plants available !! 🍅🍅

If you’re in need of any more plants here is what I have : Brandywine, Yellow Pear, Cherokee Purple, Mortgage Lifter, and Early Girl.

I started these seeds later than others as a “safety net” if my other plants didn’t do well. Everything thrived and I don’t need the excess.

All plants are organic and will cut a great deal if you buy multiple plants. Just reach out and we can talk details!

Tomatoes are in!

These past few days have been a mad dash to get a majority of my warm season crops on the ground. I’m heading out of town for the next week (not ideal timing for garden planting), so I’ve been working overtime to transplant and get a round of weeding in before I leave.

Luckily the weather has been beautiful and it’s been so joyful working hard in the soil!

I received my barefoot strawberries and got them planted. I went with a June-bearing variety called Jewel. I can’t wait to be picking this patch in a few years!

If you’re planning to plant your warm season plants around Mother’s Day, now is a great time to start hardening them off. The goal is to get them acclimated to the outdoor conditions and lessen any transplant shock.

My plants have been nice and cozy in the greenhouse and now it’s time to toughen them up. Exposing them to wind, direct sunlight, and temperature fluctuations gets them ready for when they’re planted in the soil.

Keep an eye on the low temps. I’m seeing lows in the mid to upper 30s so I will move the plants back inside the greenhouse at night so they aren’t exposed to too cold of temperatures.

My plan is to plant these babies early next week!
