🐾 Let Them Be Dogs: The Importance of Time Outside 🌿

Our dogs need more than just a quick potty break and a walk around the block. Whenever we have the opportunity, giving our dogs plenty of time outside to simply be dogs can make a huge difference in their overall well-being.

🌱 Let them sniff. Sniffing is mentally enriching and allows dogs to gather information about the world around them.

☀️ Let them explore. New sights, sounds, textures, and smells provide valuable enrichment and help keep their minds engaged.

🐕 Let them move. Having space to walk, wander, stretch, and play gives dogs an opportunity to use their bodies naturally.

🧠 Let them decompress. Unstructured outdoor time can give dogs a chance to relax and process their environment without constantly being asked to perform commands.

And remember—outside time doesn't always have to be a structured training session! Sometimes the best thing we can do is put down the leash, slow down, and give our dogs permission to sniff, explore, and enjoy being dogs.
