UPDATE ON MY GIRL 🥹❤️

She is OUT of surgery and stable! 🙏🏻🥰

The vet removed 7 stones, each about the size of the tip of an eraser, and they’ll be sent off for testing. There were also another 10 smaller stones that the doctor was able to pull out, but they were so small they disintegrated as she removed them.

Bella will be staying overnight for observation, but thankfully, everything went well. ❤️

My heart is so relieved. Thank you all SO much for the prayers, good vibes, love, and encouragement today. It means more than you know. 🥰🙏🏻

Now we just need our girl to rest, recover, and come home. ❤️🐾 (she has to wear a cone of shame for 10-14 days so that will be interesting 😂)

She had blood in her urine, and after being treated for a UTI, the blood was still there. Her tests came back negative for a UTI, but I kept pushing because I knew something wasn’t right.

It turns out Bella has over a pound of bladder stones and she is going into surgery. 💔

I’m so thankful I trusted my gut and kept advocating for her. We’re always reminded to advocate for ourselves, but we also have to advocate for those who don’t have a voice. They can’t tell us what hurts or explain when something feels wrong, so we have to listen, pay attention, and keep pushing when we know something isn’t right.

Please keep my sweet girl in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through surgery. 🙏🏻❤️🐾

Hi, I’m Angela. I collect hobbies, emotional damage, and frequent flyer miles.

I work remotely, run a pet-sitting business, and somehow still find time to let tiny humans convince me to become whatever they dream up next. Mermaid pirate? Sure. K-pop backup dancer? Absolutely. Halloween in July? Already emotionally prepared.

My Spotify algorithm has accepted defeat.

I’ve survived layoffs, shingles, awkward life conversations, and stepping on LEGO barefoot, so at this point I consider myself medically and emotionally immortal.

I firmly believe:

* Country music is therapy.
* Line dancing counts as cardio.
* Dogs are better than most people.
* None of us are making it out of here alive, so eat the cake, stop for the sunset, and absolutely buy the concert tickets.

Currently accepting applications for friends who won’t judge me for singing every song with 98% confidence and 12% accuracy, randomly disappearing to Colorado, or showing up to Renaissance festivals looking like Captain Ariel after a midlife crisis.
