I recently received a message from a mom, Erin, having a graduation party for her daughter. Her daughter requested puppies at her party! Perfect timing as our Duck Dynasty Pups were ready to go home soon. So I said, sure! Why not!
So off we went today for Olivia's High School graduation party and all 5 pups had a blast! And I think everyone attending did too!
Thank you Erin & Olivia! Congratulations Olivia!! We had fun! 👏🥳🎊❤️🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕❤️👩‍🎓🎓🥳

Approx 5 mos old Great Dane mix? He is at one of our county animal shelters. He's great with other dogs. Large breed! All legs!! We'd love to get him out of the shelter!

So when we say it takes a village, we mean IT TAKES A VILLAGE! I got a call about these 4 dachshunds that were at a home with a woman with dementia and had recently fallen. She was hospitalized and may not return home..but she definitely could not care for her dogs when or if she gets home, so I called a couple of rescue friends to take them once caught. As they were running around the property when family members found them closed in the house. P*e & p**p everywhere.. so they set them up on the porch with their crates available to sleep in. They live in the country and the dogs did not wander far from the house!
They were only used to their owner so they were very fearful of strangers... The first day out, I managed to get 2. The other 2 were not coming anywhere near me! So I reached out to the county animal control officer and she said she would definitely help catch the last 2!
Fast forward to today, she was able to get both without traps!
I could not take in anymore dogs, but luckily I had help! HUGE SHOUT OUT & THANK YOU TO Miko's Sanctuary , a local SPCA AND THE COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICERS, for helping to get these sweet babies safe!
IT TAKES A VILLAGE! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
