We are hoping to locate the owner of a deceased cat who was found after being hit by a vehicle on Woods Ave in Lock Haven.

She is a female, short-haired grey tiger with extra toes (polydactyl) and appeared to be in very good physical condition and well cared for. Unfortunately, she does not have a microchip.

We know someone may be missing and searching for her, and we would really like to give her family some closure. If you are missing a cat who may match this description, please call our office at 570-865-6735.

Please share, especially with anyone in the Woods Ave/Lock Haven area.

UPDATE- we are back up and running with no issues as of 10/2! Thank you for your patience! 🙂

We are currently experiencing significant system and computer issues here at RoseBird. Several of our computers are freezing or not functioning properly, which is affecting multiple areas of our day-to-day operations.

We are actively working to get everything back up and running as quickly as possible, but in the meantime, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding. We may not be able to answer phones as quickly as usual, and some requests or problems may take us a little longer to resolve.

Our team is doing the best we can to continue caring for our patients and helping our clients while working around these technical difficulties.

We truly appreciate your patience and grace while we get this sorted out!

Important TNR Update:

We are happy to continue offering out-of-pocket TNR services for community cats and we truly appreciate everyone who is working to help control our local cat population.

To keep both the cats and our staff safe, we do need to implement a few guidelines moving forward:

ONE CAT PER TRAP.
We unfortunately will have to turn away TNRs that arrive with more than one cat housed together. After surgery, cats may be scared, disoriented, or reactive as they recover from anesthesia. Even cats that normally tolerate one another can panic or fight, making it unsafe for them to recover together.

Live traps ONLY!!!.
Please bring TNR cats in individual live traps rather than carriers. This allows for safer handling of feral or unsocialized cats and helps reduce unnecessary stress for everyone involved.

These guidelines are being put in place for one reason: safety. We want to continue being a resource for community TNR efforts while making sure every cat can be handled and recover as safely as possible.

Thank you for understanding and for everything you do to help our community cats! 🐾
