Our yearlings are born to be wild! 🔥

Meet Gwen (Hella Good) and Tom (RL Runningdownadream). These two are excited to start their training soon, and they’re already showing off their speed in the pasture! Watching our babies grow up and discover their own individual personalities is one of the most rewarding parts of our program — and we couldn’t resist sharing some clips of them playing in the sunshine today.

When you travel solo like Timi does, sometimes your only emotional support is your horse! 🐴

Whether you need a pep talk or some sage advice, Wally is always happy to offer his opinions — and he’s got plenty to share! We talk to our horses constantly, but even more so when it’s just us and them on the road. They can be better conversationalists than people sometimes!

Travel can be taxing on our horses — so their comfort is our priority when we’re setting up stalls! 🛻

From the minute our horses are unloaded after a long day of traveling, our goal is to ensure they have everything they need to rest and recover prior to their next run. Stalls vary widely by venue, and everything we add has to play a role in maintaining our horses’ wellbeing. Key parts of our stall setup include:

🪣 Water buckets to help them re-hydrate

🌾 Hay on the ground to drain their sinuses

🌲 Extra sawdust to protect from cement floors

💤 Proper blankets or sheets for the climate

We loved getting to hear all about what makes you feel confident in the arena — and now Timi is sharing her own tips for building confidence!

Life loves to throw us curveballs, and that can make it hard to feel confident in yourself. Being prepared and having a solid circle of support are just two of the ways Timi maintains her confidence while competing.
