We are a 501c3 registered in the https://www.Benevity.com and https://www.Cauze.com giving platforms. Look us up under our rescue name. We are a group of volunteers in southern Idaho that is committed to helping homeless, abandoned, and at-risk animals find happy furever homes. We operate only on financial and tangible donations; we receive no government, shelter, or grant monies. We are primarily foster-based in Treasure Valley, Magic Valley, and Wood River Valley, and we use boarding kennels, as necessary, when we can't find foster homes. We rescue from high-kill shelters, trap abandoned and feral dogs, and intervene in small animal hoarding/neglect situations. We also rehabilitate dogs and cats with behavior or medical issues. We place animals in homes within a 10-hour-radius of Twin Falls or Boise. Fosters ARE the kingpin in what we do...Without them, we could only rescue a few and hopefully network the rest. We provide almost everything that a foster might need for an animal. The foster provides a safe, loving, and nurturing home. Note that many fosters provide many of the supplies (e.g., food, beds) needed for their furry foster, but it is not required. All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fees range from $65 (cats) - $300 (puppies) depending on the animal's age.

🐾 Meet Fritz — and please help save him. 🐾

Fritz is a 6-year-old Dachshund who was surrendered to Friends Furever Animal Rescue by his previous owner. He is the sweetest, most people-loving little guy — a true cuddle bug who just wants to be close to his people. And right now, his people are us… and we are fighting hard for him. 💙

Fritz suffers from perianal hernias that have caused chronic, severe bowel impaction — meaning his body struggles to do something the rest of us take for granted every single day. We’ve already helped him through two surgeries, but Fritz is still struggling. His quality of life is suffering, and he deserves so much better.

Without intervention, Fritz’ quality of life will decline unacceptably and we will have to consider the unthinkable 😞. His next surgery could cost up to $7,000 — and we need your help to get him there.

This little boy has already been through so much. He didn’t ask for this condition. He just asks to be loved — and he gives that love right back, tenfold.

💛 Will you help us give Fritz a fighting chance?

Every dollar brings us closer to getting Fritz the surgery he needs so he can live comfortably, find his forever family, and spend his days doing what he loves most — snuggled up with the people who love him.

🚨 URGENT: Fritz Needs Surgery 🚨
Sweet 6-year-old dachshund Fritz has already survived TWO perianal hernia surgeries… and now he urgently needs a third. 💔
After struggling with severe bowel compaction, Fritz was rushed for emergency care and extensive testing at WestVet in Boise. His veterinary team has confirmed he needs another surgery, a complex hernia mesh repair expected to cost around $7,000.
We’ve already spent over $1,400 on emergency diagnostics alone, and now we urgently need help raising the funds to give Fritz the surgery he needs to survive and finally be comfortable again.
Fritz is a fighter, but we cannot do this without your help.

Please, if you can spare even $5 or $10, it truly helps save Fritz’s life. And sharing this post could help us reach the person who can make the difference. 🐾❤️

ADDITIONAL UPDATE: This little girl is continuing to improve, she is now playing, jumping, and running Her eye is just about clear. She does have something going on with her tail we need to get checked not sure if it was broke previously, or a birth defect. I did get a look at her semi-feral littermates, and they are 2-3x's her size. She is also a lot older than previously thought, possibly older than 9 weeks since she seems to have all of her teeth. She currently weighs about 480 grams. Her size, paws, nose, jaw lead me to believe she may be a true Dwarf kitten. Time will tell on this one. Last check $168 was still owing for her to the vet, this is before she goes in for a tail check. for those that inquired. Thank you. New pics follow.
UPDATE: It is an abscess on her eye; Her cornea is intact, and she can now see out of it a little bit. She is still being treated; Foster is needed for her. This little kitty thought she was going on a walk about to the market. Instead, she was found collapsed, overheated, lethargic, and injured lying baking on the sidewalk on Sunday. The good news is she was up being feisty today. The bad news is that she has something wrong with her eye. Not sure if it is an injury, birth defect, growth, or if she had an eye there. She is currently at the Sawtooth Vet being evaluated. This little girl, whom we call stinky. She is so tiny she can curl up in your hand. But for something so little weighing as much as a feather, the name stinky fits because she can sure clear a room when she uses the litter box. Stinky could sure use a little help covering her bill at Sawtooth. Despite her independent nature and desire to run the sidewalks she finds she is just too tiny to cover it all by herself. Not to mention being currently blind on one side has caused occasional balance issues, so she occasionally falls over when she gets off-center. If you can help Stinky get whatever she needs to get better, she would sure appreciate it. We estimate Stinky is around 4 weeks old. You can donate directly to Sawtooth Vet in Jerome 208 324 5151 or via our donate button website www.friendsFureveranimalrescue.net or Venmo (208) 731-4459 thank you
