Rainie girl is HOME! 🥹💕🐾

We just picked our sweet girl up! She’s still pretty loopy, moving slow, and very sleepy, but she did great and the vet has no concerns! 🙌🏼

They did have to use both glue and sutures for her incision, so she’ll head back in about 10 days to have those removed. For now, sis is home, comfy, and getting all the rest and cuddles she deserves. 🥰

Officially retired from mama duties and entering her couch-princess era! 👑💕

Everyone send all the good vibes and prayers to our Rainie baby today! 🥺💕 Today is spay day!

We just dropped her off, and my heart is aching. She was so nervous, she didn’t even want to potty before going in, she just stood there staring at me like, “Mom, why are you leaving me here?” 😭💔

But today officially closes such a special chapter for our girl. Rainie’s motherhood journey is complete, and she has given us some of the sweetest babies and memories we could’ve ever asked for. 🐾🤍

No more mama duties for this girl! From here on out, her only job is to be spoiled rotten, steal our blankets, take up the whole couch, and live out the rest of her days as the couch princess she was always meant to be. 👑💕🐶

We love you so much, Rainie girl. Here’s to retirement! 🥹🫶🏼

Life has a funny way of changing plans… and sometimes bringing things full circle. 🤎

Due to some unexpected life changes and new opportunities, Maribelle’s mama is officially joining the Bayou Belle Kennels family! That’s right, we now have two Tennessee girls under our roof! 🥹🐾

When we went to Tennessee to pick up Maribelle back in April, her breeder was also looking for the perfect home for her mama, Annie. A family member fell in love with her and decided to bring her back to Louisiana to join their family. Since then, Annie has been living her best Louisiana life, she’s experienced her first crawfish boil, her first ATV night ride, and plenty of love. 😂🦞

But life is funny in all sorts of ways. Her family had been waiting on a very specific opportunity that would allow them to make a big move, and when that opportunity finally came, it brought along some unexpected rules that meant Annie couldn’t go with them.

So… Annie will officially be calling our house HOME. 🤎

And the sweetest part? She’s back with her girl. 🥹 Maribelle gets to have her mama right beside her again, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Annie into the Bayou Belle Kennels program.

Sometimes the unexpected turns out to be exactly where you’re supposed to be. Welcome home, Annie girl. 🐾🤎

8 week pupdate!!

Georgia Rose update 🌹💕

Our girl is doing so good in her new home, and apparently she’s already decided she’s the boss of everyone. 😂 The older dogs may still give her some lip but Georgia has no problem standing her ground and barking right back! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

She’s doing great with potty training when it comes to p*e, and they’re still working on the p**p part, but she’ll get there! She sleeps with her family all night and has never had an accident in bed. 🥹 She even wakes her mama up in the morning when it’s time to go to her pad.

Safe to say, Miss Georgia Rose is settling right in and showing off that big personality of hers. 💗

Tilly update 💕 Her first night in her new home went so well, and her new family is already completely obsessed with her! 🥹

Our sweet girl also has a new name — DAISY MAE MARIE🥰🌼 She’s settling in beautifully, and they’re already getting her established with their vet this coming week.

Seeing her loved this much already makes our hearts so happy. This is exactly the kind of update we hoped for for our girl. 💕

Tilly just got picked up, and my heart is SO full. 🥹❤️Sometimes things don’t work out the way we expect the first time around, but that just means there’s something better waiting.

Our sweet girl got her second chance today, and this time, it’s forever. 🏡☀️

We’re going to miss having her back with us, but knowing she’s headed to a home where she’ll be loved, spoiled, and cherished makes saying goodbye a little easier. Go live your best life, Tilly girl. You deserve it. 💓
