Kindred Kennels Family raised, health tested Standard Poodles. Pups are raised in our home. They are socialized with adults, children, and other dogs.

They will be vet checked, temperament tested, and up to date on shots before going to their homes at 8 weeks old. Please contact us with any questions!

Exciting opportunity to join our puppy family!

We’ve recently become aware that one of our OG Golden Mountain Doodles from Molly and Murphy is looking for a new family to love.
His owners are heartbroken, but due to some recent life changes they are unable to give him the care he deserves. They reached out to us to help find him an equally loving new home. This will be his second placement this year due to family life changes.

Meet Zeus.
He is almost 7yrs old, born 11/6/18
He is a neutered male
He is 86lbs
He is fun-loving, and gets along with kids, dogs, and cats.
He has had routine vet care, will come recently vetted, and with all vet records.

He is an amazing family pet who has a middle of the road personality (not dominate or submissive), he leans in for ear rubs, and enjoys a good shoulder rub too. He is sweet and sensitive and people oriented.
He is on some medications, so interested parties should be prepared to continue that care.

Another sad day found us unexpectedly today; hopefully the last for a long while.
Not even 4wks after Murphy passed, and just over 4 months since Bella did, Molly joined them today.
You’re really not supposed to have favorites, but she was ours. She was the best dog we could ever have asked for. She was a great mama, companion, and love bug. She had quirks and personality that kept you laughing and wanting her with you always. She was loyal to a fault, and would have raised our kids with love for us if we let her.
From her waiting by the pantry door, barking for her treats every time she came inside, to sleeping at the foot of the bed snoring every night. She was a lap dog even at her heaviest, 104lbs.
Whether it was any one of her pups from her 4 litters, or any pup from one of Remmy’s 2, she mothered them with all her heart.
From new years day 2014 when we drove to Wisconsin, through a snowstorm that brought chicago 10” in a day to get her, to our final drive to the vet today, she loved her car rides. She gave us 11.5 perfect years, and still she would have given us more if she could have; and we gladly would have taken them.

We will miss her bark, her snuggles, her love immensely, and we hope that she’s found her husband Murphy, and sister Bella in doggy heaven.

Today was another rough day for our family. We said our final farewells to Murphy today before he joined Bella in doggy heaven, a mere 102 days after she went.

From first going to pick him up, spur of the moment, on the way home from deciding against another pup, at midnight, to him fathering pups with Molly, to being our guard dog, bathroom buddy, and kids’ best friend, we’ve had many great memories with him.

He gave us 9.5 great years, and impressed the vet by living 2.5yrs longer than the breed average, and finally his time came with sudden decline overnight.

Today was a hard day. Today we said goodbye to our Bella Bear.
She gave us just shy of 12.5 great years.
She was our first fur baby. She taught us how to take responsibility as a couple in a whole new way. She gave us lots of laughs and endless entertainment. She had fun quirks, and adorable habits. She hated the rain and muddy feet. She loved the winter and never wanted to come inside. I’m bummed that she missed out on another month of snow, but glad she didn’t have to endure another melty season. She was a snuggle buddy, she would never pass up a cuddle and ear rub. She was also a guard dog, whether it was people walking down the sidewalk, or the chubby, taunting neighborhood squirrels, if something was moving close by, she’d let us know.
She let us know when it was bedtime by standing at the bottom of the stairs and asking to go up around 9:30 every night. And she faithfully slept at our feet for her whole life (although when Tom left for work she’d move to his pillow).
She started breakfast time traditions, and was always interested in handouts when we were “makin’ bacon”.
She loved haircuts (except the front legs), and treated trips to the vet like a social party. She was with us for the birth of each of our kids, and the loss of each of our Angel babies; she knew I was pregnant before I did with each one. She and Abigail had an especially close bond the last few months.

We spent last night gathered as a family around Bella sharing all our love (and bacon) and saying goodbye. Today we took her to the vet one last time, and she passed away peacefully as we all were petting her. She will be greatly missed.
