If these are your dogs, please call 515-386-2340 to claim. Brought in from 220th & F Ave between Scranton & Jefferson early this morning. White female, tan male - no chips, no tags, very dirty and appear to have had a run-in with a skunk!😬 Please no negative comments as we don't know why they're here and they appear to be in good condition, just dirty. Perhaps they were out having a good time, as dogs are known to do😜 Thanks!

Take a look at this striking gent! He was found stray in northern Greene County. He's an unaltered male, very happy and outgoing. We hope someone is missing this wonderful guy!

PEOPLE, WE NEED TO DO BETTER.
Another kitten has been found and brought to the shelter. We will, of course, do everything we can for this kitten, but the reality is that we are overloaded with kittens. This isn't just one kitten. It's litter after litter, and shelters and rescues simply cannot keep up. Please spay and neuter your pets. If you are caring for outdoor cats, reach out about TNR. Don't abandon animals or assume someone else will take responsibility for them. These kittens deserve better. They deserve to be safe, cared for, and loved, not left outside to struggle or become another litter in an already overwhelming cycle. Spaying and neutering saves lives and helps prevent more kittens from being born into an uncertain future.

Surprise at the shelter today 😍Nora & Tryce Nelson donated $160 they made baking and selling dog treats. Their grandmother gave each of them $10 and told them to use it to raise money for something. So they did🤩 Thank you so much for thinking of PAWS - and they are adorable treats😋
