Winter is Coming ❄️ (But the 💩 Never Quits)
Hey everyone!
Winter is creeping in, and as much as we’d all love if the dogs hit pause on their business… they don’t. 😂 So, I’m starting to plan my winter scooping routes early to make sure no yard gets left behind.
I'll be offering a few options to make winter easy for everyone:
• Keep regular service (because p**p doesn’t hibernate 🐾)
• Switch to every-other-week (lower cost, still clean yards — and it’ll automatically return to your normal weekly schedule once spring arrives 🌷)
• Pause service for the season and pick back up in spring
📬 Winter Policy:
Is included with this post. It explains how I handle snowfalls, icy days, and service adjustments so there are no surprises. If I’m unable to reschedule either two days before or after your scheduled scoop, your account will be credited ½ the regular fee since there will be twice as much dog waste to clean on the return visit.
If your gate or yard access is blocked or frozen, I’ll skip that visit for safety and credit your account ½ the regular fee for that week.
🐾 Thinking about pausing service?
If you’d like to be put on hold for winter, please call or text me at least 7 days before pausing. Keep in mind there will be a Spring Clean-Up fee when you restart, and those who stay on through winter get first dibs on my spring schedule!
🧤 How I scoop in the snow:
I do what I call the “Turd Shuffle.” I shuffle my boots through the snow, feeling for those sneaky little golf balls hiding underneath. It’s great exercise and keeps yards clean even when Mother Nature tries to bury the evidence. ⛳❄️💪
If you already know your winter plan, just text or message me with what works best for your household.

Turdinator's Winter Policy
The winter months present unique challenges and as much as I would love to keep your yard clean and on schedule, there are necessary adjustments I have to make to my normal scooping policy at this time of year.
Snow and inclement weather may delay me from scooping from time to time. Only during the winter months, if I am unable to scoop for an entire week, I will credit your account 1/2 the regular fee for the missed cleanup. This is only due to the fact that I will still have twice as much dog waste to clean up on the return visit.
Once a snow storm has passed, please make sure that all access to your yard is cleared of debris and snow, so that I can enter safely. Also, sometimes fence gates may freeze. I can't force open a gate for fear of breaking a latch or letting a dog loose. If I am unable to access the yard, I will have to skip your clean-up until the next scheduled week and I will credit your account 1/2 the regular fee for the missed cleanup.
In the event that you want to be put on hold for the winter months, you must call or text me minimum 3 days prior to your scoop day. Please be advised that there will be a Spring Clean-Up fee upon your re-start. And once you go on hold, the customers that stayed during the winter months will have priority clean-ups when the snow melts. Along with first dibs on my weekly schedule for the spring/summer season. For that reason I don't recommend putting your account on hold. The fact is, my standard winter policy works in your favor.
Whatever the season, I want nothing more than to efficiently clean up your yard. Thanks for working with me and lets have a great winter season!!!
