Since we usually post from home, we do not have up to the minute updates or the complete files of our animals. We do our best to answer any questions, but we encourage people to call (92

🐾 We'll scan your pet's microchip and help ensure the registration information is up to date.
🐾 No microchip? We can microchip and register your pet for just $20.

Bring your pet on a leash or in a carrier and stop by for this quick and easy way to give yourself extra peace of mind.

Join us on Sunday, July 5, at The Duck Pond at Warner Park in Madison for a fun afternoon of baseball, dogs, and giving back to shelter pets.

🔥🐾 Sher Khan is overwhelmed with joy because Sizzling Saturday is only 2 weeks away! 🐾🔥

This handsome guy can hardly contain his excitement for a delicious afternoon supporting the animals at the Humane Society of Jefferson County!

Join us on Saturday, June 27, from 11 AM–2 PM at Jones Market in Fort Atkinson for Sizzling Saturday. We'll be serving up tasty food, including Jones Market brats, with all proceeds benefiting the shelter animals in our care.

As a special thank-you, every customer will also receive a Jones Market coupon to enjoy on a future visit!

Due to the incredible turnout, we are now completely out of pet beds and dry pet food.

We still have plenty of:
🐾 Towels
🛏 Blankets
🦮 Harnesses
🧸 Pet toys
✨ And a few other pet supplies!

If you could use any of these items, stop by before 5:00 PM. Everything is free while supplies last!

☀️ Looking for something fun and educational for your child to do this summer? We still have spots available in our July session of HSJC in Training: Furry Friends Kids Camp! 🐾

Campers will get a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to work at the Humane Society while enjoying animal-themed games, crafts, activities, and meeting a variety of animals from both our shelter and the community.

Our July camp runs July 13–17 from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM and is open to children ages 5–12. Campers receive daily lunches and snacks, two camp t-shirts, and a week full of unforgettable experiences!

Registration for the July session closes July 6, and spots fill quickly. If your child loves animals, this is the perfect summer adventure!

Meet Peaches! 🍑

This sweet girl is every bit as lovable as her name suggests. Peaches has a special love for toys and can often be found proudly carrying one around in her mouth, complete with the cutest full-body wiggle. It's as if each toy is her very own baby! 🧸💕

When she's not showing off her treasured toys, Peaches is happiest curled up beside her favorite people for cuddles and a cozy nap. She also enjoys getting out for walks and is a wonderful leash companion, taking her time to explore all the sights and smells along the way. 🐾

With her gentle personality, adorable quirks, and perfect balance of adventure and snuggle time, Peaches is ready to fill her forever home with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags.
