Adoptions were a little slower this week, but we still had a big win.
We were able to send 12 of our dogs to a rescue partner in New Jersey, and this opportunity is truly life‑changing for them.
Not only does it free up space here at C.A.R.E. — allowing dogs who have been waiting to move into larger, more comfortable permanent kennels — but the dogs selected for transport often get adopted within their first week of being available. Even though they spend a short time in quarantine, the payoff is huge: a fast track to a loving home.
We are incredibly grateful to our rescue partners for giving us this much‑needed light at the end of the tunnel. These second chances matter, and together we’re making them happen.
