Baristocats Cat Cafe Jefferson City's nonprofit cat café! 💜🩵

A volunteer-run cat café featuring adoptable cats from People Helping Paws Cat Rescue. We are not a shelter.

Visit adoptable cats, relax in the lounge, and help support local cat rescue. Our animals are available for adoption through People Helping Paws Cat Rescue. Our fantastic staff is comprised completely of volunteers. Message us if you’d like to join the team! Please note, animals are never to be dropped off at our location. Our animals live in foster homes when not visiting the cafe. No one is onsi

te during the hours we are closed to assist an animal. Admission is $5 per 30 minutes. Children are welcome; but a limit of two children per adult/legal guardian is enforced. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a signed waiver. Thursday night admission is adults over the age of 18 only.

🚨 Kitty Yoga Cancellation 🚨

Unfortunately, we have to cancel Kitty Yoga tomorrow, August 23, because our instructor is sick. 😿 We’re really sorry for the last-minute change!

If you had a spot reserved, we’ll be reaching out to you directly about rescheduling/refunds.

The good news is the cafe will still be open tomorrow from 12–5! 🐱☕️ So if you were planning to come see the cats, you can still stop by and get your kitten fix — we just won’t be doing the yoga part. 😂

Such a fun night!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for Jeff City Mahjong last night, and a special shoutout to Grace for teaching folks how to play! We had several mahjongs, lots of laughs and fabulous company (both human and feline).

Thank you to everyone that came to last nights Feature Friday- Paints and Purrs. A great time was had by all!
