Camp Legacy Dog Training Working with owners to build a stronger bond with their dog through training! Jefferson City, MO and surronding areas!🐶🐶

🖤 The goal isn’t just a dog who knows commands. It’s a dog you can confidently take through your everyday life.

No one gets a dog wanting to add stress to their life. You get a dog to enjoy life with your best friend!

More freedom. Less chaos. 🐾

🖤The dogs need a story too!

🖤Socialization does NOT mean your dog needs to play with every dog they meet.

A dog can see another dog, calmly pass them, walk nearby, sniff, observe and move along… and that can be a valuable social experience.

We put so much emphasis on dogs being “friendly” that we forget how important neutrality is.

Your dog doesn’t have to love every dog, greet every dog, or play with every dog.

The goal can be:
“I see you! Cool. Moving on.”
Neutrality is an extremely useful skill!

🐾 Your dog doesn’t have to love traditional daycare.

Some dogs LOVE a big group of dogs running around all day.

And some dogs are like… “Absolutely not. I would actually prefer to mind my business, thank you.” 😂

That’s where our structured, in-home daycare comes in.

At Camp Legacy, daycare isn’t just turning a bunch of dogs loose and hoping for the best. Your pup gets a structured day with individual attention, enrichment, exercise, and plenty of opportunities to just be a dog.

Their day can include:

🌲 Neighborhood walks
🐕 One-on-one playtime
🏋️ Doggy gym activities
🧩 Interactive enrichment toys
❤️ Individual attention & structured downtime

We currently have a couple spots open on Tuesdays & Thursdays!

💰 $30/day

If your pup doesn’t thrive in the typical chaotic daycare environment, that doesn’t mean daycare isn’t for them. They might just need a different kind of daycare. 🐾

Send us a message to see if Camp Legacy would be a good fit!

Daisy Graduated!

This girl gets tired very tired very quickly! 10 minutes into her graduation, she was pooped. But we powered through! Her owners were so excited to her and she had the big time wiggle butts when she saw them. They did great working through her commands and I can’t wait to check in with them in a few days.

Does your dog not really “do” daycare? 👀

Not every dog enjoys being in a room with a bunch of other dogs all day. And that’s okay!

Some dogs are reactive. Some are overwhelmed by groups. Some are too intense. Some are nervous. Some just prefer to do their own thing.

That doesn’t mean they can’t do daycare… maybe just not the big play group version.

Our daycare is structure differently. Dogs get individual attention, structured play, treadmill, sessions, walks, and much more.

Plus! They’re handled by trainers.

So if you’ve ever thought: “ I’d love to send my dog to daycare, but they don’t do well with other dogs…”

Our daycare might actually be a great fit.

We keep our daycare, small and intentionally structured so we can work with the individual dog instead of expecting every dog to enjoy the same environment.

If your dog needs something, a little different, send us a message.❤️🐾

We currently have a few daycare openings!
