This was a fun project so I thought I would document a little of what goes into customizing a deer form for taxidermy. The first picture is a picture of a live deer for my reference. The second picture is the form before I started to make alterations. Once the deer was mounted and allowed to dry for a couple of weeks, the finish work, like texturing the nose and painting was completed. The final step was doing a barn wood look for the back.
