We are an all volunteer, foster-based rescue. The Joshua Fund Dog Rescue needs your help! Our rescue operations have literally come to a halt. As a national rescue with numerous dogs in private foster homes around the United States, transporting dogs to NY for adoption has become a virtual impossibility. Caring for our existing dogs has drained our reserves and has severely hindered our ability to

Introducing Forest! 🌳🌲🌳

Forest is a 6-month-old Lab mix with a gentle heart and an easygoing personality. This handsome boy is the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. Whether he's joining you for a walk, a hike, a relaxing car ride, or simply soaking up the sunshine in the yard, Forest is happiest spending time with his people.

Calm, loyal, and affectionate, Forest is a true gentle soul. He enjoys toys, belly rubs, and quiet time at home, and his low-energy nature makes him an easy companion to live with. Fully housetrained and rarely vocal, Forest settles in nicely and enjoys a peaceful lifestyle.

Forest can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, he bonds quickly and becomes a devoted friend. He does well with children, adults, seniors, cats, and other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for many different types of families.

His ideal home is one that will appreciate his sweet, mellow personality and give him the love and companionship he deserves. Whether you're looking for a loyal walking partner, a road-trip buddy, or a best friend to relax with at the end of the day, Forest is ready to fill that role with unwavering love.
