Happy Birthday to the woman who has dedicated over a decade to Dogwood Animal Clinic
If you've ever visited us chances are you've met her, or at the very least, you've heard her. Whether she's chatting with clients or somehow making friends with complete strangers in under 30 seconds, she can truly talk to anyone about anything. If there's a conversation happening, she's in it. If there isn't one, she'll start it. She can strike up a conversation with absolutely anyone, and if that conversation somehow turns to birds, congratulations! You've just committed to a 45 minute discussion.
She's instantly recognizable by her fabulous signature white streak, but what really makes her stand out is her heart. She pours so much love into every patient that comes through our doors, treats every pet like they're her own, and is always willing to go the extra mile for the families who trust us with their furry loved ones. Thank you for everything you do, for caring so deeply about every pet that walks through our doors, and for somehow keeping the rest of us functioning, even on the hard days.
Behind all the sarcasm and endless yapping is one of the biggest hearts you'll ever meet. Every patient gets treated like family, every client knows they're being heard, and every coworker knows they've got someone in their corner when things get chaotic, which, let's face it, is every single day in vet med.
When she's not at the clinic, she's out birding, identifying every feathered creature within a three-mile radius, spoiling her beloved ducks, conure, and three doggies or hanging out with her hubby.
Happy Birthday, Amanda! We hope your day is filled with frozen caramel coffee, cooperative patients, no surprise a**l glands, no "it's just a quick nail trim" appointments that turn into full-contact sports, plenty of birds to spot, extra duck cuddles, puppy shenanigans, early 2000’s bops, and all the cake you can eat. We honestly don't know what we'd do without you, and we don't want to find out. ❤️
