✨️PIPER GOAT UPDATE✨️
Let me start by saying-- the number of you beautiful human beings that reached out to me privately over this goats health and well-being was overwhelmingly heart warming. I know we love this sweet goat but the fact that so many of you rallied, prayed, called, texted, and even offered to donate supplements was more than I ever could have fathomed.

ALLL that said: she's going to be just fine. Thank. GOODNESS. Shes on two shots a day (big ol fatties, I might add 🥴🫣) and some NutriDrench and these seem to have helped her do a 180⁰. Shes back to being nosey and demanding leaves from their favorite leaf dealer.

We may make a living off "playing with puppies all day!" But sometimes those puppies are livestock that require major medical intervention. Either way, we are never bored and forever grateful! Shoutout to Joshua, who as per usual, was willing to wrangle and poke and proad just as quickly as I am followed up by love and sweet nothings whispered into the goats ear.

Tonight we ask for prayers.
For the last 3+ years I have been caring for Piper and her sisters and suddenly Piper has taken a turn for the worse. The Riggin Farm donated NutriDrench and the vet is on the way. But it's worrisome and her mama is very scared for her. So we just ask that you send up a little prayer for Miss Piper Goat and her mama tonight. Send us a miracle.

I smell a herpetologist in the family! This boy is always catching something. Today it was a little DeKays Brown snake during some yard work. DeKay snakes are 100% non venomous and love to gorge on slugs in your garden!

🐍Georgia Snake Facts🐍
* Did you know out of the 4️⃣7️⃣ snake species native to Georgia, only 4️⃣ are venomous: Copperhead, Cottonmouth, Rattlesnake, and the Coral Snake.
*The most commonly found snake in this state IS the DeKays, followed closely by Rat Snakes and Racers.
*Rat Snakes are actually immune to venom and will devour the bad snakes.
*Racers are not entirely immune, but prefer to dine on the offspring of the bad snakes. Effectively helping even further drop the population.
*The chances of your pet actually being bitten by a snake are low, but chances are it would be a copperhead. Treatment is commonly fluids and supervision-- not antivenom
*In my 31 years of living and exploring Georgia, I have never naturally seen a rattlesnake or coral snake in person 🤯 How cool would that be, though?!
