Ive said it before and I will say it again: THE most rewarding part of my job is when you have an animal that goes from wanting to eat you to asking for pets and taking commands. To being hand fed and trusted. Take Olive and Kado: two GSDs, from very different lines, both trained to protect. When I met them, I had to stand behind their owner, armed to the teeth with treats and balls. Slowly we got Kado to play fetch and Olive to let me pet her. After a few weeks Kado was more than happy to sit, stay, fetch, wait, and center. But no pets. And definitely dont come near his house.

Today, both GSDs graduated from their socialization meetings with me and are officially drop in care pups! I can go to the door. I can feed them. I can walk them. We play. We work. And I cant tell you how rewarding that is! Shoutout to the Gangelhoffs for all of their patience and willingness to work with me at the dogs' pace. I couldn't be more proud!

How it feels knowing God has plans you know nothing about.
You ever just surrender? You ever get just SO clueless that you just...give it over? To big G or Little g God. The universe. The "powers that be", should you believe in something like that?
That was yesterday: Clueless. Scared. Confused. But in total surrender. I genuinely prayed. And a client who wasn't booked needed a last minute sitter? Another frantic, lovely woman called me with a last minute sitter cancelation for her kitties. I met her at 8:30 pm and secured the best new kitty clients right down the road.
I dont know where we are going. But I know its somewhere beautiful. No matter how uncertain or confusing. I have faith, yknow?
Thank you, once again to every single one of you. You make supporting my family and my dreams come true, every single day. And you never cease to amaze me.
