Firefighters and other first responders are finding relief from chronic stress, thanks to CNN Hero Heidi Carman and First Responder Therapy Dogs. Since 2021, her nonprofit has certified more than 480 therapy dog teams and provided relief to more than 150,000 first responders nationwide.

Congrats to the latest group of AKC STAR PUPPIES! In addition to socialization and enrichment activities, we also worked on basic obedience cues, walking on leash and coming when called. Congratulations also go to the latest group of graduates attending TRICKS class! Several dogs earned their NOVICE TRICK DOG title and Ellie earned her INTERMEDIATE TRICK DOG title! If you're looking for something fun to do with your dog, consider signing up for tricks class. It's a great way to "work" and bond with your dog in a fun manner. Luvk9s next tricks class starts Saturday, Sept. 6 at 3 PM and runs for 5 weeks! Hope to see you in class!

Meet the latest CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and CGCA (Advanced Canine Good Citizen) pups! Edgar the pug and Hazel the yellow lab earned their CGC. Buffy the Rottweiler and Paddy the Golden Retriever earned their CGC earlier this year and now have also added the CGCA certification to their portfolio! The CGC and CGCA classes are perfect classes to take to build on skills you learned in BASIC class. Contact us for more information!

Luvk9s just completed a TRICKS class with three super students! Ellie the Dalmation earned her NOVICE title and is only one trick away from getting the INTERMEDIATE title. Lucy, the yellow lab (mix) earned her INTERMEDIATE title (she already had her novice title) and Sadie the mini gold doodle earned both her novice AND intermediate. WOO HOO! A good time was had by all! Luvk9s will be offering another TRICKS class starting Friday, July 11 at 3 PM. Class meets for 5 sessions and is an hour long. Class size is limited and we've got 3 pups signed up already so let us know if you're interested in a spot!
