We believe the research should speak for itself, and that you shouldn't have to take a label's word for it.

Our horses are worth more than guesswork. That's why we're committed to building products rooted in real evidence and genuine quality — because at the end of the day, these animals give us everything, and they deserve care that's built on more than just good marketing.

The equine research available is unfortunately sparse, but we've done lots of work to try and provide third-party studies to our customers on applicable product pages.

Balance pads look simple, but they are a powerful training tool for horses.

By creating a slightly unstable surface, they ask the horse to make tiny postural adjustments through the feet, legs, core, back, and neck. That means the horse is not just “standing there,” they are organizing their whole body.

Benefits can include better proprioception, improved balance, increased core engagement, more awareness of foot placement, and stronger stabilizing muscles. They can also be a helpful tool for horses coming back into work, older horses who need gentle strength support, or performance horses who need better control over those tiny body adjustments that make movement smoother.

Start slow: just a few seconds at a time, one or two feet, no forcing. The goal is voluntary engagement, not making them stay on the pad. Tiny wobbles are the workout, and it’s important to not force more than they’re capableof!
