Hi everyone! I’ve noticed some new followers to the page, so I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.
My name is Julie, and I’m the owner behind Hops & Pet Service. I started this side business about a year ago after my dog, Bunny, passed away. Losing him was incredibly hard, but it also reminded me how deeply I love animals … and how much joy I get from helping people care for theirs. Ever since I can remember people have been asking me to watch their pets for them.

What began as a way to honor Bunny has grown into something truly special. I’m so grateful for every pet I get to love on and everyone that trusts me with their furry companions .
🐾 I’m currently booking for summer, so if you need pet sitting, or any extra help with your animals, I’d love to chat.

I just wanted to take a moment to say happy holidays and thank everyone who has trusted me with their pets this season.

Spending time with dogs and cats like Cora, Acorn, Lola, Rudy, Peanut, Obi and Willow (and the list goes on) has been fun and I’m grateful for the families who welcomed me into their homes this year.

When I opened this side business back in May, I didn’t know what I was doing, but I knew I had an idea and felt called to see where it could lead. It has been rewarding to watch it grow and to care for so many pets and help so many people in 2025.

🎄🐾 Hops & Paws Pet Services is now booking for late December and early January! If you need dog sitting, cat sitting, drop-ins, or help enjoying the holidays stress-free, I’ve got you.

For everyone’s safety, I’m only accepting friendly/non-aggressive pets, and all pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccination. At start of the year I’ll be stepping back a bit while I handle 1099s, tax season, and focus on earning my CPA licensure in Wisconsin, so availability will be more limited in 2026.

What does this mean? It means the brand is now legally protected right here in the state of Wisconsin.
