Foster Guardian Puppy Homes Wanted!!

We are looking for 4 foster guardian families to place our breeding females with in 2027. These are not puppies that are for sale. We place them with approved homes and once we they are done with their breeding career they are given to the family!

It is a great program we have used for 25 years and allows us to build our breeding program in the best way possible. Puppies go home with a family and stay with that family in a safe, secure and loving home!

- We reimburse for the annual wellness, shots and flea/tick medication.

- We board the girls for free when in season and at a reduced cost when needed on a normal basis.

- We provide the puppy to the family at 7 weeks old at no charge, as we retain ownership.

We have placed 80 ladies in this program over the last 25 years! Email Jeff Fuller at [email protected] with questions!

NOTE: Eligible families must live within 100 miles of Janesville, WI. Dogs must be inside, living with your family. No intact males can be in the home.

Monday Pupdate!

We officially have one girl bred and another being bred in the next 2 weeks for chocolate/black pups. Pups should arrive in late November to early December. These litters are already full!

Once pups arrive we will let the families with deposits in what the go home date will be, parents and picking order. I wont know which litter anyone is in until we get pups on the ground and know how many girls/boys/colors we have!

Now is the time to get in a deposit for our 2027 litters. We have ample room for our black, chocolate and yellow litters!

Reach out to Jeff at [email protected] with questions!

Tis the season for hunting! I get many messages this time of year on dogs not behaving in hunting situations. It is always the same....how do I fix problem "X".

The real issue is the training itself. Training for hunting is not throwing bumpers or birds and introduction to gunfire. Training is control, which is obedience. Obedience on sitting still, recalling when asked, retrieving when released, holding the item retrieved until to to release and being quiet when commanded.

If you take your dog to the field with any of these problems....it may and likely will just get worse. Find a great training program, pro to work with or club. Get you dog in line before they head out to the field. If you have problems....pull the dog from hunts and fix the issue.

To put it simply....if you have the issues most likely the problem is your training and not the dog.

No birds but a nice morning for Wallace on his first hunt.
