And just like that, Tech Week is a wrap!

We finished out the week with Class Colors Spirit Day, our annual Vet Tech Olympics, and lunch graciously provided by our DVMs!

Our techs do so much every day, often behind the scenes, to keep things running and make sure our patients get the care they deserve. From the tough days to the little wins, we see how much you put into this job, and we hope this week was a reminder of just how valued you are. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐾💛

🦎 Happy National Reptile Awareness Day!🦎

Reptiles are an incredibly diverse group of animals, from snakes and lizards to turtles and tortoises. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns, and many have some pretty amazing adaptations that help them survive in their environments.

Here are a few of the reptile patients we’ve had the pleasure of seeing at Badger! 🐍🐢

⭐️ EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Bailey! ⭐️

If you’ve ever had a pet groomed here, chances are you’ve met Bailey! She’s our Grooming Supervisor and has been part of the Badger team for 5 1/2 years.

Bailey started out as a dog bather right after high school, never expecting it to turn into a career. But she quickly realized how much she loved grooming and decided to pursue it further!

What Bailey loves most about her job is getting to know the pets she grooms and their families. She values the relationships she builds and the trust clients place in her to care for their pets.

While she loves grooming all of your pets, she especially enjoys working with curly coats! Breeds like Poodles and Bichons give her a chance to get creative, almost like working with modeling clay. With so many fun styles and looks to try, there’s always something new to do! 🐶

Her advice for keeping pets looking their best is to stay on top of their health and care, because pets look their best when they feel their best, too!

Bailey brings so much personality to our clinic, and we’re lucky to have her on the team! Thank you, Bailey, for all the care you put into your work and for helping our patients look their very best. ✂️🫧

Happy Pharmacy Technician Day! 💊🐾

We’re pretty lucky to have a pharmacy right here at Badger…and even luckier to have these two running it!

They’re an important part of our team, supporting our doctors, techs, and clients while making sure our patients’ medications are prepared and cared for with attention to detail.

A lot happens behind the pharmacy counter, and we’re grateful for the work they put in every day to keep things moving!

Happy Pharmacy Technician Day to our pharmacy duo!

It’s Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾

We’re taking a minute to recognize the techs and assistants who keep things moving, jump in wherever they’re needed, and handle whatever gets thrown their way.

It takes a lot of knowledge, skill, patience, and adaptability to do this job well. Our team brings all of that to the table, even when things don’t exactly go according to plan.

From the routine days to the really tough ones, they’re there for our patients, our clients, and each other. There’s a lot that goes into this job that most people never see, and we’re pretty lucky to have a team that takes it all on.

Happy Vet Tech Week to this crew! Thank you for all you do, day in and day out, and for being such a big part of what makes Badger what it is. 🐶🐱

Help us celebrate them by leaving a little love in the comments! 🤍
