We train and place fully trained service dogs with approved recipients who are disabled. Both children and adults. As an Assistance Dogs International accredited organization, our training practices are held to a high standard. Our dogs go through a three-phase training course before they are ready to service someone with a disability and help regain their independence. It is with this dedication to our recipients and their dogs that we are able to change lives, one dog at a time. Foster Friday!! This weeks spotlight goes to Maricarmen and Alexander! This is what they wanted to share with everyone:

I have enjoyed fostering a total of 3 dogs (so far) through Little Angels. As a future recipient of an autism service dog, I was anxious about my ability to manage life in a new way, I had no previous experience with dogs as pets, so I decided to foster while we wait. My confidence as a handler has improved so much. It is so fun to be a part of a service dog's journey to being someone's fur ever support. By providing opportunities to experience a life with a busy family, I feel honored to play a small role in LASD's ability to match a dog's special talents and abilities to provide a life changing support for a LASD recipient.

We love foster meet ups and sharing stories about our foster dogs. I would highly encourage anyone to foster, even if it's just for a month. It is so rewarding when you see them graduate.
