Here is the link to our states Law on rabies vaccinations and frankly if you are a groomer and allowing dogs in with no vaccinations, I have absolutely no respect for you. and you are putting yourself at risk other people and pets. We have had cases of rabies in Campbellsville and Somerset. Too close for my comfort.https://www.saferabies.com/us-rabies-laws/kentucky

🐾❤️ IMPORTANT REMINDER FROM DOGGIE STYLZ! ❤️🐾

🐶 Is your pet up to date on vaccinations? 🐶

At Doggie Stylz, the health and safety of your furry family members is always our top priority! ✂️🛁🐾

💉 Why do we require a current rabies vaccination?

🐾 Protects Your Pet: Rabies is a serious, potentially fatal disease that can affect both animals and people.

🐾 Protects Our Groomers: Grooming involves close contact, handling, and working around dogs who may become nervous or frightened. Even the sweetest pets can unexpectedly nip or bite.

🐾 Protects Other Pets: We want to provide the safest possible environment for every dog who walks through our doors.

🐾 Responsible Pet Care: Keeping your pet's rabies vaccination current helps protect your pet, your family, our staff, and our community.

⚠️ Bite Reporting Requirement: If a dog bites a person, we may be required by law to report the bite to the appropriate local health or animal-control authorities—even if the dog is vaccinated and does not have rabies. Reporting a bite does not mean the dog has rabies; it helps public-health officials assess the situation and determine whether observation or other follow-up is needed.

🔬 How Animals Are Tested for Rabies: Rabies testing is performed by qualified public-health laboratories. In animals, a definitive diagnosis generally requires testing brain tissue after the animal has died or has been humanely euthanized; there is no reliable routine test for rabies in a living animal. If a bite occurs, please seek medical attention promptly and contact local animal-control or public-health officials for guidance.

❤️ Our Rabies Vaccination Policy: For everyone's safety, Doggie Stylz requires proof of a current rabies vaccination before grooming services can be provided. Please bring your pet's current rabies certificate or have your veterinarian send us a copy.

We love your pets like family, and this policy is one more way we show how much we care! 🐕❤️

Thank you for helping us keep tails wagging and everyone safe! 🐾✂️

IGroom and Hydra are the products I use in my salon. This is why price increases is important for a small business. Products and tools and tool maintenance and more increase as well. I refuse to go “cheaper on my products because these are best for your pups and my clients deserve the best and products I love and trust.
